The rustic river front updated cabin has 300 feet of river frontage, fenced yard (except the riverfront). Rear deck has a hot tub, beautiful majestic view of the river. The river has heavy tidal flow (no river use from home). The Hoquiam River support runs of Chinook, chum, and coho salmon, steelhead, and sea-run trout. just a couple of miles upriver from Historic Downtown Hoquiam restaurants, stores and shops, 20 min to coast 45 min drive to Lake Quinault hiking trails South Shore Trailhead.

Perfect base camp for your visit to the Olympic Peninsula! Close to great hiking in the Olympic National Park and surrounding (access Staircase, Mt. Ellinor, Hama Hama, Lena Lake, Duckabush, etc.). Great diving, fishing, and kayaking, too. Steps from restaurants, gift shops, a local distillery, and coffee shop in Hoodsport.

Located in a safe residential neighborhood next to the mall, marinas, lakes, local parks, hiking trails, beaches, city transit, bike paths, restaurants, bakeries, breweries, wineries, and retail stores. Within 5 minutes of downtown Olympia and the Capitol. About 45 - 60 minutes from SeaTac Airport (depending on traffic). Good central location for the beach and Mt. Rainier. Within 15 minutes of Capitol and St. Peters hospital.

You'll find restaurants, a supermarket and more in town. Nearby you'll find two state parks. Ocean beaches are an easy drive away, and we're on the Olympic National Park loop. High speed Wifi and Netflix. Free parking. 2 pets allowed for a small one-time fee. Relax in this friendly environment!

This quiet hillside home with amazing views is ten minutes from I-5 and just outside of town. The spacious living room with writing desk, bedroom, bath, mini-kitchen (with hot plate), patio, and private coded entrance are on the lower floor of this rural mid-century modern house—our family home since 1960. Also- we have a rooster & hens. We offer fresh eggs whenever our hens are laying!
