An Sonachan

An Sonachan is a modernised bungalow situated on the edge of the Bowmore. This spacious, well appointed accommodation sleeps up to 7 people in 4 bedrooms. A large dining kitchen, well equipped with American style fridge freezer, range cooker, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine, has outstanding uninterrupted views of Loch Indaal. The dining/lounge area is perfect for watching the glorious sunsets and the various Islay bird life. A separate comfy lounge area is available with open fire.

A family operated well-equipped 3-bedroom home in the heart of Bowmore, Islay. Ideally located near shops, restaurants, the famous Bowmore Distillery, and the picturesque harbour, it offers convenience and comfort. Perfect for forgetting life's stresses and enjoying holiday getaways. Easy access to stunning beaches, whisky trails, and all the island has to offer. We have two garden spaces, a small side garden at the house and a large green 20 secs walk from the rear of the house (see images)

Gartartan Port Ellen Modern home with sea views

Gartartan provides stylish and contemporary accommodation with stunning sea views towards Kilnaughton Bay, Port Ellen (within 1 km) and beyond to Kintyre. Distilleries nearby. Gartartan is spacious with efficient underfloor heating and insulation. The open-plan living area has an abundance of light, wooden flooring throughout and a modern wood-burning stove. With four double bedrooms and three bathrooms Gartartan can accommodate six adults comfortably. Enclosed garden/ parking.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

26 Shore Street is close to the centre of Bowmore, right in the heart of Islay. The house sits overlooking the harbour and backs onto the beach which is accessed at the end of the terrace. Nearby there are hotels, restaurants, shops and Bowmore Distillery. Parking is free on the street outside.
