We are a quarter of a mile from downtown Bonners Ferry, meaning walking distance to Breakfast, lunch, dinner, casino, beautiful views and friendly people! We are 45 minutes to the village of Schweitzer and a great stopping point before Canada. Super clean and love to share our hand crafted tiny guest home! The Outhouse is located on property. We as hosts are next door in the main house, so if you need anything we are avilable! We happily accommodate late listings and last minute bookings.

Refuge Retreat - Bunkhouse on the Kootenai River

The Refuge Retreat nestled along the Kootenai River, adjacent to the Kootenai Wildlife Refuge, has a panoramic view of the Selkirk Mountains, British Columbia, and Montana. Located 9 miles from downtown Bonners Ferry, the Bunkhouse is suited for family of 4, outdoor sportsmen, or a weekend retreat. This place would afford you the opportunity of endless outdoor activities: fishing, kayaking, hunting, hiking, photography. The host encourages you to provide your own recreational equipment.

Spacious yurt in the forest

Stay in a spacious yurt nestled in a private forest. Miles of private trails, fire pits, outdoor kitchen, and all the nature you can handle await you! Our canvas yurts are large, with oversized windows, a full desk and seating, and a queen bed. You'll be assigned a beautiful private bathroom at check-in that is a short walk away. Please note, our yurts do not have electricity. We do provide towels and bedding. But you will want to bring lights and anything else you need to camp out!

Welcome to the Riverside Retreat! This custom log cabin with a cozy bunkhouse & hot tub will SLEEP 8 and is nestled on 3 private, treed acres with grass to the waters edge! Located 31 miles north of Bonners Ferry and 8 miles from the Canadian Border, this home is surrounded by thousands of acres of public land accessible by car, ATV, bike or on foot and has RV parking. (Located 20 minutes North of Downtown Sandpoint)This unique fully off grid, solar powered paradise offers everything you need to be grounded. There are two rentals on the property with shared outdoor kitchen, fancy outhouse and firepit. Recreation is at your doorstep with kayaking, fishing, hiking, berry picking, hunting, gold panning and just all around adventure.
