Eco Dairy cabin at Theresa Creek

This charming eco cabin studio is the perfect place to soak up some country air & rejuvenate the mind, body and soul. An ideal couples retreat, this one bedroom has a kitchen, fireplace, verandah, garden bathroom with rainwater shower & composting toilet. The Eco Dairy is located within the picturesque valley of Theresa Creek in northern NSW. It is the perfect space for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and reconnect with the simple things in life by spending some time in nature. Enjoy breakfast on the front verandah while listening to the local birdsong. The Eco Dairy is a simple retreat yet has all the comforts of home. If you need a place to recharge the batteries then the Eco Dairy is the place for you! Guests will have access to clean country air, birdsong in the early morning, dramatic sunsets and rainwater (heated) showers. In winter you can sit by the fireplace and enjoy a red wine and read a good book. Our property borders the Cambridge Plateau which is World Heritage Listed rainforest. Make sure you take the time to do one of the walks - from the lookout you'll enjoy breathtaking views towards the east coast of northern NSW, capturing Mt Warning on a clear day. We understand that many people that come to stay at the farm are looking for a place to relax and chill out. We respect your space, however if you need anything we are located only a 400m walk away. We love living in Theresa Creek. We grow most of our own food and try to live in the most sustainable way possible. Our neighbours are all farmers, and we help each other when in need. We are all very down to earth folk and enjoy living in this part of the world which we call 'home'. I think most guests will love it here at Theresa Creek - as most people that come to stay never enjoy leaving! There is no public transport at Theresa Creek. Having a car will allow you freedom to explore the surrounding area, however if you are flying or arriving by train and do not wish to hire a car we are able to collect you from the airport /station at an extra cost. Tooloom Homestead - High Country Escape.

Treat yourself to a totally private and immersive High Country Escape. You will enjoy a fully equipped gourmet, granite kitchen with double oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and huge island bench. The 18 meter long, open entertainment area includes a large dining room table, slow combustion fire and huge open fireplace. Constructed from local hardwood timber, the house is imbued with a distinctive Australian aesthetic and the walls are decorated with botanical eucalyptus drawings. Spend summer evenings on the expansive veranda, taking in panoramic vistas and breathtaking sunsets and when the cooler weather arrives, unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy the rustic appeal of a roaring open fire. If you are keen for adventure, take an exhilarating wilderness walk or kayaking adventure on the Tooloom river. Pack a picnic hamper, fishing rods and sunglasses and head for the river, where you can cast a lure and wait for a bass to strike. The architecturally designed homestead is perfect for large families or groups, with its wrap around veranda and spacious, travertine ensuites, adjoining every room. For biosecurity reasons, we ask that you leave your pets at home, but feel free to encounter the many cattle, horses, Pretty Faced Wallabies, occasional shy koalas and platypus that call this landscape their home. Kookaburra Cottage at Uralba Eco Cottages

Bonalbo B&B "Manning Cottage"

Manning cottage was once a school house, but now welcomes visitors to its rooms. Set in a tranquil environment surrounded by birdlife and rolling hills, the cottage is beautifully decorated for practicality and comfort. A well stocked breakfast basket with locally sourced produce is included. The Upper Clarence district offers a choice of outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, bird-watching, bushwalking, 4wdriving as well as the local show, campdraft, and dog trials are held annually.

A Simpler Place in Time

Restored 90 year old farm building separate from house overlooking the McPherson Ranges and Mount Barney on a 17 acre farm block with animals. Great place to stay if you are walking Mt Barney, Mt May or Mt Maroon - 40 mins drive north. The cottage can accommodate 3 people using a queen bed and a trundle bed (extra $15/night). The cottage runs on solar power (off the grid); gas cooktop; gas hot water; septic toilet; tank water and wood heater. Dean's shed is overflowing with stories and harness.

The Rainforest Guesthouse is a situated in the beautiful sub-tropical rainforest area of the Far North Coast. You are surrounded by gorgeous gardens and 100 metres from our beautiful swimming hole and rainforest. You may spot a koala, platypus or wallaby and you will definitely see many beautiful birds. Sorry no dogs as we have a dog that loves people but not other dogs. 15 minutes to Minyon Falls and the Nightcap National park. 30 minutes to iconic Nimbin. 35 minutes to Byron Bay.

Koala cottage delight

Wallaby Creek Retreat offers complete privacy in a remote farming valley in the border ranges, Northern NSW. The cottage is 2brm, self-contained, wood fire heater and big outdoor fireplace, lots of space, lots of quiet, 2.5 hours from Brisbane & the Coast, big verandas overlooking the scenic valley. Screen-free zone: no tv, no phone reception, no wi-fi, no 240 v power (all gas and solar powered). Full kitchen for cooking, dining inside or out, 1 queen room, 1 queen + single room.

The Haven on Barker

The Haven - Central location, fully renovated, 2 full size bedroom, living space is a big converted veranda. Casino is situated between the sea and mountains. There is spectacular rainforest and bushland nearby in the Border Ranges, beach towns and some of the most idyllic villages the North Coast of NSW has to offer nearby, while set in quiet rolling farmland. Although the name of our town suggests a Casino there is none, it is named after a town in Italy by our early settlers.
