The Loft is located on the second floor of historic Lawyers Row, circa 1840, in the heart of Centertown Bedford and close to the National D-Day Memorial, Poplar Forest, Smith Mountain Lake, The Peaks of Otter and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Tucked away overlooking Stoney Creek 5 miles from the Peaks of Otter and Blue Ridge Parkway sits this cozy and peaceful cabin with a queen/twin bunk(top for storage). Cabin is offgrid and has a woodstove for heat, solar generator, window fans, wifi and cell booster along with ports to charge your electronics. This totally renovated cabin sits by the banks of beautiful Craig Creek. The Hideaway backs up to the 4,600+ acre Grace Furnace tract of National Forest. There are no neighbors in sight and the traffic is sparse.Sit on the screened porch or relax by the water's edge with the fire pit. The water is usually deep enough to swim in front of the house, and you can float for miles! You can fish right from the yard and catch trout, small-mouth bass, rock bass, and lots more!

Escape to a serene cabin and watch the sunrise over the mountain from a screened-in porch or sleep in and have a river beach picnic later. Kayak, canoe, swim, hike, watch wildlife or just use River's Bend Cabin as your base station for many other recreational activities in the area. The back deck curling to the edge of the bluff over the river is sure to provide marvelous memories of a romantic sunset or family celebration to the end of a great day.

Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, huge deck, and pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top of the line kitchen, cozy living room, and extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the firepit, and relax on the dock. There is two miles of trails on the 37 acre property with their own trail signs and map.
