The Best Nest

Welcome to this family-friendly retreat featuring a spacious game room complete with pool table & foosball table. Unwind in the cozy living room or prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, & all the essentials needed for a relaxing stay—ideal for families, small groups, or weekend getaways. Conveniently located near local attractions and ready to welcome you. Sleeping arrangements include two queen beds, two futon beds, and a bunk bed with a trundle.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located in a subdivision that is a short distance from I-220. Near restaurants and shopping, but with a back patio area that makes you feel like you’re staying in a rural area on a series of ponds. The home has a backup generator so you never have to worry about power going out during your stay. One of the bedrooms was converted into an office/work space, but also has a couch for a child or teen that needs a place to sleep. No parties!

Enjoy Lake Access, fishing, kayaking or just relaxing on the back porch,deck or around the fire pit. Rent a boat from Barron's and drive it under the bridge to the property. House is 3000 sq ft remodeled. Downstairs master suite. 3 bedrooms upstairs with bathroom and playroom/office that has a queen sleeper sofa can sleep additional 2 people. Master has queen bed. Upstairs has a king, 3 full beds, and sleeper queen. Get the real Louisiana feel with cypress trees and lake cove views unmatched.

Pelican Place on Caddo Lake (Boat Ramp & Kayaks)

Quiet retreat by Caddo lake with private boat ramp. Launch your own boat, or use kayaks. Filming of the movie produced by M. Night Shyamalan "Caddo Lake" was seen from the waterfront of Pelican Place. The patio is perfect for grilling dinner while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Caddo Lake. The updated interior of the house has maintained its rustic charm; provides a complete kitchen, private bedroom & queen sleeper sofa in living room. We welcome all guest into our charming four bedroom farmhouse decorated in French country. Enjoy privacy on this 20 acre gated property with plenty of parking space for vehicles and boats. The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
