The staff at Noira cottages couldn't speak English, but with Google translate we were able to communicate quite well. Ross is the air BNB host however the cottages are owned by Rivi. we were able to speak with Rivi directly to organise a charter to get off the island early (before public boat departure) in order to catch a flight from Berau. very relaxed vibe and lovely place to stay

At first my family and I just thought looking for a place to visit and overnight, eventually it turns out to be more than what we expected! Learnt and knew more about Melanau culture and heritage including how it has been established for more than a decade! It was an amazing short trip for us especially during our self Christmas celebration. Great hospitality provided by Mdm Diana, including her team. They were super friendly and the breakfast provided was delicious too! Great recommendation for a place to visit while escaping from the city area. Easy access to Mukah's town area too. ❤️👍

We stayed here for one night in a twin room. It’s basic and you get what you pay for. Everything is clean and there is nothing to complain about. The staff is really helpful regarding any questions. But bring your own toilet paper because there wasn’t any in the bathroom.

Tip of Borneo Wetland Executive Suite

My recent stay at this Airbnb suite, located in a picturesque wetland area, was a unique experience. However, there are a few things potential guests should consider before booking. Firstly, due to its location in the wetland, you should be prepared to deal with insects, especially mosquitoes. Bringing insect repellent is a must. Despite this, the interior of the suite is well-maintained and comfortable. The amenities are satisfactory, and the availability of hot water for showering is a definite plus. The suite provides a decent level of comfort, ensuring a pleasant stay. Transportation to the suite can be a bit challenging. It is highly recommended to rent a 4x4 vehicle as the road from Kota Kinabalu to the suite is quite rough. Additionally, driving at night should be avoided due to the condition of the road and the lack of lighting.

Spent 3 nights there, small hostel with private rooms (very basic) in Gadong, a commercial quarter between the river and the airport. I had to wait a little upon check-in (I arrived very late), but other than that communication was smooth. Terima kasih!

2019-2020跨年夜订了一间水屋和一间沙滩屋，除了沙滩屋的门锁很难开，其它一切都非常非常完美！！！水屋设施比沙滩屋新。度假村人不多，沙滩海水很清澈很漂亮，吃的也没像网上说得那么吓人，我们觉得挺好吃的。我们三人还参加了马达京和汀巴汀巴浮潜活动，刚好没有其他客人，我们三人玩得特别开心，在马达京浮潜时，教练Song用救生圈拉着不会游泳的妈妈，带着我们三个看了好多海龟，有一个大海龟还浮在水面上，近距离和海龟对视！其它水下鱼和珊瑚也很美。汀巴汀巴岛几乎无人，拖尾沙滩很美。跨年夜吃饭还有音乐伴奏，活动有趣。很棒的一次经历。

Een geweldig verblijf in een fantastisch opgezette longhouse setting, bovenop de heuvel omringd met bebossingen Het verblijf en restaurant zijn eenvoudig maar wel tot in de puntjes afgewerkt en verzorgd. Ik raad deze plek aan voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een authentieke ervaring terwijl je toch wilt genieten van gemakken zoals een airco. Een 5+ locatie!

Wir haben zwei Nächte in Zimmer 20 verbracht. Es hat leider fast durchgehend geregnet und besonders nachts war das Zimmer etwas kalt. Mit einer zusätzlichen Decke hat dann alles gepasst. Unser Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - vor allem als es darum ging einen Bus nach Sandakan zu erreichen. Das ist nicht einfach, mit etwas Hilfe hat es aber sehr gut geklappt. Das bringt mich auch zur Lage: Man kann den Kinabalu Nationalpark zu Fuß in etwa zehn Minuten erreichen, entlang der Straße gibt es vereinzelt Cafés/Restaurants. Alles ist aber sehr einfach und auch Taxi/Grab funktioniert in der abgelegenen Gegend nur bedingt. Mile 36 hat Kontakte zu Taxifahrern, die uns einmal nach Kundasang brachten. Alles in allem eine schöne Unterkunft, wenn man es ruhig mag und den Blick ins Grüne schätzt. Sicher bei gutem Wetter viel schöner als während unseres Aufenthalts. Wir sagen Danke.

We had such a wonderful stay here in the heart of Brunei. Mini was such a great host, extremely friendly and always there when and if you needed anything. Would 1000% come back & recommend to a friend. And all the photos were just the same in real life.

Value for the money! Location is super B near all the stores and Gadong mall, Gadong night market. WIFI is stable. You can work remotely. Host is attentive, responsive and swift! Friendly! Room is comfortable and huge for 2 persons. Toilet/Shower room with hot shower and of course with bidet! Some suggestion for improvement: An additional trashcan inside the toilet for segregration of trash from the room trash can. Maintain spotless dirt on the room especially under the bed. There are a bit of cobwebs in the ceiling, Im afraid of spiders hahaha but not much of concern. Definitely will come back and recommended!
