Situated just 20 minutes from Bright, this masterpiece of Australian landscape is cradled by mountains, Happy Valley Creek and 20 acres of delightful farmland. Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Oro, a place of provision, unfolding beauty, rest and refreshment.

Days End - where the trails meet

Rest and refuel at our peaceful & modern retreat. The perfect end to a day of adventure in the beautiful Kiewa Valley. Whether your appetite is for skiing, riding, golfing, fishing, kayaking, bushwalking or simply relaxing and taking in the beauty of the valley you will have a tranquil base at the Days End. Conveniently located a short stroll from town you will find a supermarket, cafes, pool and pubs. Just 30 minutes drive to Falls Creek, next door to Big Hill Bike Park and close to the river.

The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Spectacular mountain and valley views await at Home Trail, a modern alpine retreat in Mount Beauty at the base of Falls Creek. A five-minute walk to the town centre with cafés, shops, and essentials nearby. Perfectly positioned for skiing or snowboarding at Falls Creek, cycling the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, swimming in the Kiewa River, or riding trails at Big Hill Mountain Bike Park. After a day of adventure, unwind on the spacious decks and relax in the peaceful alpine surrounds.

Mini Mountain Studio - Bike or Ski

Welcome to your mini mountain home! Hotel room/studio with some cooking facilities. Central Falls Creek village location. Walking distance to many restaurants. Ski in winter, including ski in ski out (snow depth dependent). Escape the heat to mountain breezes and bike or hike in summer! Small, but thoughtfully equipped. *2026 is byo towels & linen due to having a baby and no capacity to do linen. Price altered accordingly. If you can't bring own linen & towels please ask and I'll arrange.

Your Retreat to Tranquility

Fully self-contained two bedroom cottage, less than 2km from Mount Beauty in the beautiful Kiewa Valley. Nestled amongst 3 acres of stunning native gardens, towering majestic eucalypts and a pristine Alpine stream running through the property. There is a seasonal swimming pool(Nov-Mar), BBQ area, fire pit and playground Nest Swing. Cottage has air conditioning, floor heating and a private verandah. Approx 40mins to Falls Creek, 35mins to Bright. Perfect getaway for any time of the year.

The Tin Pod

Breathe easy the moment you walk into the courtyard of The Tin Pod. Green Gables

Green Gables is a peaceful cottage situated in lush gardens on the banks of the Ovens River in Bright. The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

EV charge point available! Light and spacious, with a focus on comfort, this well laid-out, original Mount Beauty cottage is ideally located for you to relax in and enjoy this beautiful area. We have tried to make a home-away-from-home for you to enjoy. The house is not new and angular but older, mature, softened and comforting. If you are looking for old-fashioned relaxation with comfy beds, sunny corners, throw rugs, books to read and DVDS to watch, this might be for you.
