An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

Cozy Cabin in the Redwoods-River, Beaches, Hottub

Close to Arcata, Ocean, Redwoods and the River, our Cozy Cabin appeals to solo travelers, couples and small families. This contemporary Cozy Cabin in the Redwoods with woodstove hearth is bathed in sunlight & is a short stroll to the Mad River, 10 min. drive to HSU/Arcata & beaches, short hops Eureka and Trinidad, & natural paradises of Sumeg Point State Park, Big Lagoon and Redwood National Park. Incl. shared Hottub w/ sign up sheet to reserve your own 30-60 min. tub times. No pets allowed.

Moonstone Cabin

This 500 sq.ft. cabin has vintage charm & is cozy & clean. It has a private entrance, is in the redwoods & right by the beach. It can comfortably sleep 4-5 people. 5 adults will be a tight squeeze. Only one pet allowed due to the small space. This cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and full bath. Full bed in downstairs bedroom & queen size bed & twin bed in the loft. Loft is accessed by a safe ladder Located by Moonstone beach & Moonstone grill & only a few miles from the heart of Trinidad.

The Cabin at the Redwoods

Welcome to The Cabin at the Redwoods -- located in Westhaven, within walking distance to the beach, and just a short drive to the Redwoods. This stunning, spacious 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home sits on 1.17 acres. Enjoy the wood burning stove off the living room, and rear deck hot tub on cool evenings. Natural light floods the home during the day. Peaceful, slow-running creek runs through the rear of the property. Updated kitchen, and tastefully decorated interior. The perfectly private getaway!

Shore Acres Ocean View Cabin and Retreat Space

Step back in time and experience the best that Humboldt has to offer at the exceptionally preserved Shore Acres cottage. Set on a serene and completely private parcel, this unique property offers unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and access to the Mad River frontage beach, as well as a private duck-stocked pond and local creek. Take a romantic stroll through the immaculately preserved grounds, and enjoy a sunset bonfire on the string lit terrace overlooking the ocean. Unforgettable!

The Stonehouse Cabin Boutique Lodging

The Stonehouse Cabin is the first of our boutique lodgings on our beautiful property in Trinidad, CA! The currently reduced rates reflect our possible presence and intermittent construction on site as we continue to build our vision. Our goal is to have a Wilderness Spa with soaking tubs, artistic elevated accommodations and yoga studio by 2028! Thank you for your understanding and support. The cottage is on a 4-acre property nestled up against a small redwood grove, allowing for plenty of privacy for guests who are looking for a secluded getaway. Hike the redwoods, shopping in a Victorian Old Town, dine on local seasonal delicacies like Salmon and crab. Pick up necessities at Three-Corners Market, about a 5 minute drive.

Popeye's Cottage in the Redwoods

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This cozy cottage is nestled on four and a half acres of beautiful second growth redwoods just outside the town of Trinidad. It is a small and simple cottage with three beds and all the necessities needed to cook. The cottage's main heat source is a gas fireplace. WIFI service is available, there is no tv/entertainment center, so bring your laptop if you want to.

Dual Cabins & Treehouse

Nestled in the redwoods, our dual cabins offer a serene retreat. Each cabin has a cozy bed, with shared access to a detached bathroom and an enchanting treehouse. Ideal for couples or solo explorers seeking a unique experience.

Sylvan Harbor Cabin 2

Built in the 1940s, Cabin 2 has been modestly updated but maintains a rustic, rough-around-the-edges feel. There are some eccentricities, such as the cabin bedrooms have curtain closures. It has all the essentials for an extended stay. It is cozy, clean and functional providing a nice, quiet base for relaxing and enjoying the local beauty.
