Bedrooms & Bath Step into a restful retreat in the large master bedroom. Designed with relaxation in mind, cozy up under a blanket in the reading nook or take an afternoon nap in the plush king-size bed with a luxurious memory-foam mattress. With its large size, easily fit a crib (there’s one onsite) or air mattress right in the room. Our queen bedroom is not only stylish but comfortable. The nearby guest bath features custom wall art with a double vanity, bathtub and shower. Outdoor Spaces The newly renovated front porch of this house is made for fun and relaxation! In the afternoon, take the kids across the street to the incredible Blowing Rock Elementary playground. In the evenings, retreat to the front porch to reflect on your day in the comfortable outdoor furniture and enjoy a beer while listening to music on the lawn (from May to October). A small but inviting front yard is surrounded by a hedge for privacy. Sit under the apple tree in a double Adirondack lounger to maximize your time away or fire up the on-site propane grill for a cookout. Extra Amenities & Details Guest amenities include a washer/dryer, crib and high chair, parking for one car at the main house with access to more parking by request. Enjoy a ping-pong tournament or shuffleboard game in the garage game room. Access to the entire home including the garage/game room. Owners live nearby and are available quickly if needed. The home is located in downtown Blowing Rock—one of Southern Living's favorite small towns. Leave your car keys behind and enjoy an easy walk to cute shops, delicious restaurants, and public parks. Leave your keys in the car as everything in The Village is walkable from The Laurel House.

This great location allows you to easily get to groceries and shopping with the main strip located only 4 miles away. An easy 6 mile drive takes you to the center of the town of Boone, and Blowing Rock is easily accessible at 3 miles away.

Kick back and relax in this Luxurious mountain contemporary home located in the poplar subdivision of Cross Creek Farms, Blowing Rock NC. This home sits on a 2 acre lot with plenty of privacy and has an abundance of windows allowing the sunlight shine through and for you to enjoy the beauty of the forest that surrounds you. Ready to get cozy in this 2 bedroom cabin located between Blowing Rock and Boone? Only minutes away from Appalachian Ski Mountain and Tweetsie Railroad. Super location with all the amenities of home. Come relax, put your feet up next to the fire, hike the Blue Ridge Parkway, or ski App Ski Mt. until you're exhausted. Either way we've got you covered. Your comfort is my first priority. (Please be aware that in the winter months the weather can be very cold, very windy, and very snowy)

This home is 10 minutes from Grandfather mountain, and convenient to Sugar Mountain/Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. If you enjoy the quiet, peaceful serenity of the mountains this is the house for you. Please note there is a 1/4 mile steep decent on an unpaved road to our house and a 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended.
