Payne Branch River retreat (A) is nestled on eleven acres of privately owned riverfront property in Blowing Rock, NC. The New River runs directly in front of the property and provided unique access to pristine, hatchery supported trout fishing. We are ten minutes from Appalachian Ski Mountain and two miles from downtown Boone with easy access to 321. This retreat is the perfect getaway for exploring all the High Country has to offer. **Must be 25 years or older to rent

Our Happy Little Hut

Come and stay in our unique quonset hut just 15 minutes to Boone! This is a half circle metal building turned into a unique tiny home cabin experience. This 400 sq ft space has everything you need including a bedroom, bathroom and upstairs kids loft. The main area has colorful wood details and an accent wall with 100 year old barn wood right from our own farm. The water is straight from a natural spring up our mountain. This space is ideal for couples, and two kids.

The Bitterroot Barn

The Bitterroot Barn is unique small structure with a queen size bed, two twin size beds in the loft. Built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel, it has a Full bath, kitchenette, Roku TV, Wifi, and a Bluetooth Surround Soundbar. There is a gas fire pit, small grill on the porch. If you are looking to experience what a nice tiny home feels like, we highly recommend visiting the Bitterroot Barn. We are less than 7 minutes from downtown Boone.
