Relaxin Retreat near the Blueridge Parkway

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Our cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, and the James River with many outdoor activities within minutes. Our cabin will accommodate 2 people based upon septic system and rules and regulations set by Bedford County . Our cabin is not kid friendly (infant-10 y). Please message us with any questions. Come back from sightseeing or from a hike and relax in the hammock, 6 person hot tub, or by fire pit.

Tall Oaks Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this most peaceful place to stay. We welcome 2 - 6 guests to our spacious home overlooking a pond. Our closest neighbors are deer and Canadian geese. Each room features elegant surprises -- a quiet reading nook, 2 gas fireplaces, breakfast in our sunporch, double wine/soft drink fridge, serene dining room, well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms plus a study with daybed, spacious living room, 3 full baths, and lower-level game room, right next to the full laundry.

Solitude at Homeward Farm

Stay in this 1960's Hunting Cabin located halfway up a mountain. Extremely private with incredible views of the Peaks of Otter and Bedford County. 2 miles of hiking trails, stocked fishing pond. If you love the cabins at Mountain Lake Resort or the cabins at The Greenbrier Resort, then you will love our cabin. We include basic charcoal and grill supplies, sheets and towels and a full service kitchen with all of the utensils for cooking a family meal. Let "Solitude" rejuvenate your soul.

Enjoy a relaxing campfire, visit a winery, head over to LU or one of our local wedding venues. Make the most of your next VA mountain getaway, at our private guest house! This home has a living room, furnished kitchen, bathroom, & bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor, 2 loft floor mattresses; basement has a full bed and bathroom. A gas grill and fire ring are provided. You will have Wifi, Roku TV screens, puzzles, card games, and corn hole. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.

Little Gallery House Near Natural Bridge

The Little Gallery House, near Natural Bridge, is part of an old Civilian Conservation Corps Camp, then juvenile detention center, now a campground and artist community, called Thunder BRidge. There are 100 acres to explore, bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails and just 2 miles from the James River. This would be an ideal place for family to meet if some of you want to camp and others would like a real house. There is a queen bed and a day bed.
