Modern Cabin in the Redwood Rainforest

Visit us at our redwood homestead to experience modern country living. Our cabin is nestled between tall groves on an acre of land just outside of town. We have chickens, a koi pond, fruit trees, and are surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. Both the National Park and ocean are less then a 10 minute drive away, making this the ideal spot to recharge in between adventures. Bring the whole family to The Ruby Rose to unwind and escape the heat and spend time at the beach, or hiking the giant redwood forrest's. This cozy home is located about 5 minutes from down town Crescent City, in a very quiet and quaint 1960's neighborhood. This home features a large family room perfect for relaxing after a long day of surfing the Pacific Ocean. Bring your kayaks, or binoculars; Lake Earl awaits you at the end of the road, perfect for birdwatching or spending time outdoors.

Do you like hiking, surfing or maybe white water rafting or kayaking? Close to scenic rivers, giant redwoods and of course one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. We are in a great location to catch a sunset, whale watch, take a stroll along the beach, search through the tide pools at low tide, or check out the lighthouse. All right across the street . So many possibilities! We are also in a prime location to watch fireworks on 4th of July. This is a bottom floor unit.

Elk House Retreat - relax in hot tub, gaze @ stars

Secluded, beautifully landscaped 2-plus acre property within a mile of the entrance to the world renowned home of majestic Redwoods at Jedediah Smith National & State Park. Small Cozy studio is connected to the owner’s home but is private with your own entrance. The studio retreat is less than 3 miles to scenic Crescent Beach, Battery Point Lighthouse. Located only 4 miles to downtown Crescent City and harbor where you will find shopping, restaurants, and Ocean World.

1929 cottage, centrally located Crescent City

Cottage built in 1929! 858 square feet with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom. Nice size yard with privacy. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed. Bedroom 2 has two twin beds. Pack N Play available. Walk-in shower, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, cooking oil, salt, pepper, basic spices, popcorn maker, crockpot, electric hot water kettle, microwave. Large kitchen table. Less than 1 mile to ocean!

Gayle's Garden Cottage

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The queen bed (3 layers of high density memory foam mattresses) is in a loft, accessible by an angled loft ladder with handhold cutouts (not suitable for infants or children). Nema 14-50 plug available.

2+ Bedroom house in the redwoods

This newly remodeled 2+ bedroom redwood chateau is nestled on a private 2 acres in the redwood forest. Only a mile and a half to town and a few miles from Jedediah Smith Sate park, it provides a central, quiet retreat with the convenience of quick access to beaches, hiking trails, restaurants, and stores. From enjoying the soaking tub to relaxing in the sunroom or back patio, this open floor plan has a fun, rustic space that everyone can enjoy.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. You will find all you need to relax and spend some quality time with your family. Within walking distance from Walmart Supercenter (0.2 Miles / 4 Minutes) and Sutter Coast Hospital (0.7 Miles / 14 Minutes) makes it very convenient. Please note: there is construction going on in the neighborhood Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm. Ping Pong table and bikes available upon request.
