Came here for a girls getaway with my sisters and mom! It was absolutely delightful! Comfy, cozy, clean, and so well decorated. It had all that we could need or want and Sara went above and beyond with all the special touches- extra blankets, tea, games, etc. Beds were comfy and we loved walking the beach looking for tiny shells. Even did a cold plunge in the morning! Definitely want to come back!

James place was a pleasure to stay in, it was cleaned had everything we needed and more for a beautiful weekend! Bonus points for having more than one selection to watch other than Netflix thank you again!

It was a great place. Nice location and comfortable surroundings . Kitchen was stocked nicely as we did some cooking and seasonings, oil etc.. were there . Plus coffee .

This home is a great find! I booked this for a girls weekend and we all had a blast, the house had plenty of space with a gorgeous view. Highly recommend booking Dave’s home!

We had a nice stay at Michael’s place, we enjoyed the river and garden and how much he put into his outdoor space. The home was clean and well kept. He had lots of recommendations for the river area and we appreciated that.

My family and I had an amazing stay here. The location is perfect—right on the water, just minutes from the ferry terminal, grocery stores, and shopping. The home is beautiful and exactly as described, with stunning views of Bainbridge, Mt. Rainier, and passing ferries. The amenities were impressive: heated floors were a luxurious touch, and the kayaks were high-quality and well maintained, making for a lovely time on the water. The house was very spacious, clean, and well stocked, including the bathrooms. The host was friendly, responsive, and left a binder full of local recommendations—many of which we tried and enjoyed. When we forgot a personal item at the end of our stay, they were very responsive and quick to help! We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this home to any group looking for a peaceful waterfront getaway!

Bill and Jodine's home was truly as beautiful in person as in the photos. The views were spectacular, and we really enjoyed the peaceful and quiet location. We also appreciated the generously filled greeting basket and thoughtful welcome card. While the elevator did have a bit of a hiccup, we resolved the issue fairly quickly and my paraplegic family member was able to get around the home with ease. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a unique little getaway.

Brad was a gracious host and the bottle of wine was an unexpected gift! Felt like staying at a close family member's guest home. The hot tub was spotless. Felt like we were the first to use it! The gas fire on the patio was a nice touch. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best for our weekend to use the canoe or kayaks or paddle boards, but we hope to come back another time and get to use those! Oh and the sound system for the tv was also awesome with a comfy couch and the king bed was very comfortable! Often places skimp on the bed and we slept very nicely on this one (not too soft or too firm, and didn't sink in the middle!). The shower with two independently controlled water temps was also very nice. Overall it was just a perfect place for a great price. Highly recommended!!

Rebecca was a most gracious host! She met us at check in and after a long day of travel, this beautiful little cottage in Gig Harbor was just what we needed. It was one of our most peaceful stays! The views were SO worth the price. We spent our mornings on the deck with coffee and enjoyed sunsets in the evening! We used the kayaks and that was really fun! If you are lucky enough to find availability, I’d highly suggest you book! If she will have us, we will be back!

Chris & Kristine's place was so idyllic -- it's the perfect place to get away. With a quintessential Pacific Northwest beach with seals and eagles, not to mention the friendliest neighborhood dogs (we brought our own, who loved it), it felt like get a different world from the rapid pace of nearby Seattle. The house was a wonderful place to rest and relax, and the kayaking was peaceful and delightful. And of course, nothing on Vashon is too far away. Chris and Kristine were great, responsive hosts. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a really lovely stay! The location was super convenient—close to grocery stores, fast food options, and just a short drive from the SEATAC . The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and we especially loved having access to the lake—it was such a nice bonus. The home was clean and comfortable, with fresh sheets and tidy spaces. There were a few small spider webs, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. The bathroom could use a little updating, but the built-in heater made it cozy and comfortable. The washer and dryer were a huge plus, and while the TV was on the smaller side, it didn’t bother us much. The kitchen had good counter space, though it was a bit basic in terms of amenities. One of our favorite features was the hot tub—such a relaxing treat! Jennifer was incredibly kind and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything even better. All in all, a great place to stay and we’d happily come back!

This was my first Air BnB experience and it was amazing. Wendy was so kind and supportive as well as her very friendly neighbors helped us get into the cottage. Will definitely be coming back next year!

Perfect, peaceful, charming cabin on the water. The moment you walk in you can see straight through to the water. Comfy deck seating for watching the sunrise and sunset. Walk right on to the soft sand filled with seashells. We will definitely visit again!

What a dream of a place. One of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in, and we travel a lot. If you are looking for a peaceful/romantic/beautiful spot, this is it. We felt completely at home. The view is spectacular. The bed was super comfortable, and the apartment itself had everything we needed. We were in town for a wedding, and David's place was the exact tranquil retreat we needed. Thanks again!

My husband and I just had our first son and it's made life more complicated (and magical) and we haven't had many opportunities for getting away and kicking out feet up. This cottage on the water was an ideal place to escape, without having to drive for hours from Seattle. Beautiful views of the Sound, and the house had all the comforts we needed. My husband was especially grateful for the local coffee, pour over and chemex options to brew it. The house was cozy, warm & inviting. We enjoyed all the spaces in the house so much I had a hard time deciding where I wanted to spend my time. The breakfast nook was cute, as was the patio w/ incredible water views, & the master bedroom, which was large enough for us to sleep comfortable and have our son's pack and play set up nearby. Jacob was extremely responsive to our every message and very warm to communicate with. When our little guy accidentally knocked something over and it broke, they were understanding and kind. We will be back!

Lovely spot. Waking up to views of sound and Mt Rainier is amazing. We arrived after dark so it took us a second to find the right turn onto the property.

Great place, absolute hidden gem, we came for a peaceful place to relax after long days mountain biking and this delivered. Morning hot tub soaks and evening wine on the chairs on the dock… great views and great amenities. Great communication with the owner as well. I didn’t understand the security deposit at first but it’s safe and secure through their API connected application (Airbnb helpdesk confirmed legitimate) thanks guys!

The house was quiet and had all we needed to have a great girls weekend! And finally an Airbnb without a bed that feels like deflated air mattress, haha! Very comfortable and cozy living space as well.

Beautiful view and very comfortable home for the six of us. Annie was a wonderful host and it was nice to have a kitchen that had the utensils, pans etc that we needed. There are several steps to the house, but they provided a handrail and lighten which really helped. This place is a winner!

Wow! What a beautiful place! This may be up there with my top stays, potentially even be the best! Everything down to the decor has been well thought out. We relaxed by the lake and saw some wonderful wildlife including the bald eagle and river otter! Hosts were amazing and responsive. I absolutely LOVED it here!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to relax after the stressors of planning a wedding and this place fit us perfectly. We ended up spending our honeymoon here. When we were looking for a quiet retreat this place provided that. When we wanted to explore there were many options within a 90 minute drive, Seattle being only 45 minutes away. Brian answered any questions that came up during our stay and went above and beyond what we expected, he even had orange juice in the fridge and a bottle of wine on the table. I would whole heartedly recommend this place if your looking for a quiet place to recharge.

Hamid was an exceptional host. Always responsive and suer accommodating. We hosted a team meeting with 2 of our team members staying there and we all enjoyed the place. It is a little further away from the busy city so you will need a car to get travel in and out. The neighborhood is super quiet and the view is amazing. The house was overall super clean and organized. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cabin in the city.

What can we say - this space was fabulous! It was just like the photos and then some. As a lot of others have noted: it's great for families (we each could have our own floor to sleep + the basement toy closet was a hit), the fully stocked kitchen/linens was a plus, the yard and beach welcomed barefoot toes from the kiddos for hours. The host was very responsive and accommodating with a late check-out. I hated to share this spot with friends incase it gets even more booked, but it's too good not to share. Thank you for a wonderful staycation!

Perfect one night stay with two kids at the Hobbit House! Carnation is on 45 minutes from Seattle but feels like a true escape. The acreage around the house was extremely beautiful with big second growth trees and a field to run around in. The house itself is one of a kind construction and truly feels in the spirit of a Hobbit house - extremely comfortable and cozy, clean and dry. Not one but two oversized squashy leather chairs for reading, a huge dvd selection, and a well appointed kitchen. We loved it. There are approximately one million lamps all with different ways to turn on which was an entertaining challenge and added to the intense coziness. I FaceTimed my dad to show him some of the construction details as he has build an octagonal barn with some of the same principles as this round house.
