B&B with Garden View in Stunning Art Nouveau House

Explore galleries in the Arts District and stroll back to a majestic century house teeming with original character. Climb stairs to the privacy of a second floor room with en suite shower room. Awaken when morning light peeks through a south-facing skylight. Breakfast is served at convenience in the Dining room. Public car parking in the street is possible but paying. Guests rooms are situated on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The 1st Floor is private. The guests Breakfast room and salon are shared, and situated on the ground floor. In summer breakfast on the terrasse is possible. The gym room is in the basement. Ironing is possible in the laundry room, near the gym, upon request. The house was built in 1909, and is located in the upper Saint-Gilles district. This is the Art Nouveau and Art Deco area, also known for its many art studios and exhibition spaces. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and amenities are close by. PUBLIC TRANSPORT The public transports for Brussels region are called STIB (or MIVB in flemish) and include Metro, Tram and Bus. SNCB is the national train operator   Most Metro/Tram stations have only tickets vending/cards loading machines. It is only in main hub stations that tickets and cards can be purchased from the public counter.   Tram, metro and bus are integrated with transfers allowed. Each ticket or journey on a multiple journey card is valid one hour, irrespective of transfers.   Brussels residents use a personalised MOBIB card. Visitors use an anonymous MOBIB card, which can be loaded with 1,  5 or 10 journeys. It can be used by several persons, provided it is validated for each person and for each trip.   On board a tram or bus, you can only purchase single journey tickets, but this is a more expensive option. ARRIVING FROM BRUSSELS MIDI TRAIN STATION Taxi from Bruxelles Midi (Brussels Zuid) train station: +/- 12€. You can also take the underground tram 3 or 4 or 51 respectively direction Winston Churchill or Stalle or Van Halen , and hop off at station Horta. Then walk uphill along the Chaussée de Waterloo and avenue Ducpétiaux is the 4th street on your right. The house is situated on the left side. ARRIVING FROM BRUSSELS AIRPORT (ZAVENTEM) Taxi from Brussels National airport: +/- 50€. From the airport, it is faster and often cheaper to take the train to Brussels-Midi. From Bruxelles-Midi, you can take a taxi for +/- 12€. Alternatively, you can also take the underground tram 3 or 4 or 51 respectively. See above for details. TO GO TO BRUSSELS CENTER Via MIDI station You can either take tram 3 or 4 at HORTA direction Esplanade or Gare du Nord, and step off at BEURS/Bourse (eg to go to Grand Place). Via SABLON / ZAVEL Take tram 92 at MA CAMPAGNE direction SCHARBEEK and step off at SABLON or PALAIS; from there you can walk down to Grand Place in 10 minutes Walking You can walk to town in about 25 minutes, via Avenue Louise and Sablon. Een romantisch nestje op amper 300m van de zee en op 500m van 'SILT' ( Casino). 'De Dromerie' is een oase van rust langs de Warandeduinen. Ons gastenverblijf is een landelijk ingerichte studio, ze beschikt over een eigen keukentje, vintage bad, douche, salonnetje, groot bed en privé-terras. met uitzicht op de tuin. Op aanvraag voorzien wij een ontbijtmand. We houden van kunst, in de tuin vind je twee Street-art betonelementen en we beschikken over een kleine keramiekstudio. Gratis fietsen!

d' Oude Smidse is een gastenverblijf in Zuienkerke tussen het historisch stadscentrum van Brugge en de Belgisch kust. Wij verhuren onze net gerenoveerde schuur van 100 m2 met 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers, een leefruimte met kitchenette. Gasten krijgen het hele jaar door privé toegang tot de sauna en jacuzzi. Het privé verwarmd buitenzwembad is open van Mei tot September. Ontbijt is niet inbegrepen maar kan bijgeboekt worden. Het gastenverblijf is altijd volledig privé voor 1 groep of koppel.

We are Hans & Eric. The B&B suite is located in our house on the ground floor (see photos), surrounded by forests with fantastic views! Our wellness facility includes a heated (mid-May to mid-Sept depending on outside temperature) swimming pool and jacuzzi with panoramic views. Please note: Swimming pool and Jacuzzi can only be used under certain conditions. Basse Bois is located 5 km from the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. We speak Ducht, German, English and French. Our B&B is in an old mansion house in the middle in the medieval center of Brugge with 2 guestrooms, 50 meters away from the Grand Place. A ideal place to discover Brugge and to stay wonderfully peacefully. Your double room with bathroom is situated on the first floor with a lovely view on the St Jacobschurch.
