It was so relaxing and calm I loved the scenery. The beds were so comfortable and I really liked the fluffy blankets that were provided as well. Honestly, I would live there if I could. I really liked my stay at Rebecca‘s place and it was one of my favourite B&Bs I’ve ever stayed at

I had a brilliant stay and will be coming back in the future for sure! The property was private, cozy and surrounded by beautiful countryside. I would suggest this stay to anybody!

I wish I could’ve booked more days. This place and area is just astounding and breathtaking. Helen was super responsive and the on site staff are very helpful and nice. I highly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot because they will be easily fully booked.

Gorgeous cabin between Castlewellan and Newcastle. It has everything you need for a short stay. We hiked during the day and then rewarded ourselves with a stay here for the hot tub! (Has robes and plenty of towels). It was just lovely and v comfy beds! I highly recommend it.

Lovely stay, super close to Newcastle and has everything you could possibly need. Even in the rain, the view was amazing+ the hot tub was covered so we still got the use out of it.

Everything was top class at Hawthorn Hideaways. The pods themselves were very clean and cosy. We were welcomed with a little mini hamper which was a great touch, it had snacks and marshmallows for s'mores which we used at the firepit. What ever type of stay you are coming for whether it's as a family or as a couple, you'll definitely be guaranteed a lovely stay.

Stay was brilliant, Angela goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best day and supply you with all the relevant and helpful information upon arrival. The cabin is absolutely spotless and well maintained. Extra touches include breakfast pack, toiletries and dressing gowns for after the hot tub which makes the stay even better value for money. Would recommend to everyone and would definitely return to a relaxing stay.

Had an absolutely lovely stay during the weekend! Rita was the most helpful and kind host! Replied very quickly and very accommodating! She has thought of every little extra you can think of and was very easy to deal with! The cabin is absolutely stunning and super clean and comfortable! Can’t wait to stay again!!

the cabin was clean and cozy. Had everything you might need. And the view was amazing. Watching a sunset over the Mourne mountains in the hot tub was all we needed for our anniversary. Would come again.

Absolutely beautiful cabins and views. Bronagh met us on arrival which I felt was lovely as not many hosts take the time. The cabins itself have everything you need for a self catering stay with more than enough extra space. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Absolute bliss! My new favourite place 💕 Hosting only 2 pods it was very quiet and peaceful overlooking the beautiful Northern Ireland countryside. Kirker met us promptly upon check in and was very friendly and welcoming. The pods were absolutely sparkling clean, beautiful new state of the art hot tubs, lots of little activities like corn hole, darts, swing ball etc. There is a shared space between the two pods which has a movie room with projector, a covered bbq area, a fire pit and a large picnic bench. It was very easy to find with google maps. We relaxed around the fire pit listening to the birds singing then met the other lovely family staying in the 2nd pod and got chatting away while our children played. Overall we are blown away with this little find. It is so so peaceful and in the middle of the countryside but yet very close by car to major towns/city. The perfect base for whatever the trip like walking, shopping etc. We will definitely return here at a later date.

We had a lovely, relaxing time. Hot tub and sunken bath was a lovely touch 😌 😍 only downside was the hot tub in our cabin wasn't very private... a fence up blocking from the car park would be a nice touch 👌

We had a great stay at the Hideout! The views were amazing, the hot tub was stunning and the place was so clean and fresh when we walked through the door. We took our doggie with us too who got along well playing with the Corgis! Was a great stay and would definitely book again!

Enjoyable Quiet Family Getaway, beautiful green rolling hills, nice little kids play park and sand pit, Farm animals for the kids to see! Hot tub was nice and warm, and the cabin and facilities were great!

Saul lodges are a gorgeous break away from city life but not too far away from the local town for restaurants and shops. Upon arrival the hot tub was preheated which was fantastic to climb into after our long drive. Throughly enjoyed our stay however the only slight change I’d make would be to fence the lodges off from each-other a little bit more as we felt a bit exposed to our neighbours. Other than that I’d highly recommend this place!

Loved the stay. Fantastic views and Bronagh was very accommodating. Lovely experience. Will be back and will recommend to all my friends and family. We’d move to the area. Gorgeous!
