Enjoy coffee on the deck and evenings around the firepit as the sun sets behind the mountains. Inside, you’ll find a bright, comfortable space with fiber internet and a kitchen outfitted with quality cookware, serving pieces, and the basics needed to enjoy relaxed, home-cooked meals during your stay.

Sleeping Bear Cabin - Blue Ridge Mountains

Sleeping Bear Cabin is nestled away in a private mountain community that has it's own lake and just a two minute drive to the New River at the entrance of the community. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.

There is a gorgeous view from the deck where visitors are welcome to relax. The guest space is a suite (entire floor) with two br (1 full, 1 twin), a kitchenette (in single room) and a full bath. Parking at top of paved drive may be necessary for rear-wheel drive cars during inclement weather.
