We think you’ll love the close proximity to Centertown's local shops and restaurants, and be impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into renovating our vintage building. Airbnb does have a place for adding this nominal fee. Just leave it on the TV Desk. Please put your pet in a crate when leaving the cottage. No pets on the furniture.

Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign). ***If booking in winter months, keep in mind the wind tends to be heavy, depending on weather.***

The farm sits on 153 acres of rolling pastures between neighboring cattle farms that make up a 1,000 acres of contiguous farmland. The cottage features beautiful views of the Peaks of Otter Mountains among fields of grazing horses and donkeys. Sunrise and sunset are truly magical hours on Roaring Run Farm.

Lakehouse on Leesville Lake in Bedford County VA

My late wife, Gail, & I came out of retirement to renovate this unique home with a completely new kitchen, vinyl plank flooring, new deck & new well in the Fall of 2019. This 3 bedroom lakehouse is very secluded within about an hour drive from Lynchburg, Roanoke or Danville. The dock and boat ramp are especially convenient. Keep an eye out for eagles, osprey, deer, bear, turkeys, otters, geese & heron.
