We have some surprises for you at Gateway Cottage! We hope you'll come share them. It's the historic homeplace for a family of seven who lived here for 100 years. It's now a blend of farmhouse and contemporary. This cottage is also a blend of country and town, with plenty of space to spread out, relax, walk our 3 acres, view mountains, and watch the deer. Need something you might have at home? I bet we've thought of it! You'll be surprised to find how well-equipped Gateway Cottage is.

Our newly renovated, two bedroom, two and a half bath, townhouse is located less than 5 minutes to Liberty University and central to shopping and restaurants. We are also a short drive to downtown where you can find amazing restaurants right along the river bluff walk. The home is ready for your arrival with self check-in, comfy beds, cozy seating, full kitchen with coffee maker, SmartTV, private deck, fast Wi-Fi, laundry, linens, and lots of extras to make your stay comfortable and pleasant.

Edifice Rex

Edifice Rex, a 300 square foot studio apartment, is only one mile and less than 2 minutes from Interstate 81 yet offers a very bucolic, peaceful setting. Countless cultural, historical and recreational opportunities exist within a 30 mile radius. The James River and Appalachian Trail are but minutes away. The name, "Edifice Rex" is to honor the caretaker on the property, a German Shepard named Rex. You will not have to interact with him ( he wears a radio collar) but he welcomes attention.

Completely renovated home on a quiet country road. New kitchen, bathroom, and deck. Private backyard with deck, grill, outside table and gas fire pit. The house is easily accessible with a flat driveway and one step up from the sidewalk. One king and 2 XL twin beds with all bedding washed after each guest. Bedrooms have room darkening shades. 300 Mbps wifi and a smart TV in the living room. Check out the Airbnb next door (Maple Glen) if you are traveling with a larger group.

Our private guest suite with its own entrance & patio is serenely located amidst lovely views of our landscaped gardens, playful horses, & magnificent mountains. If you want a place to kick back, unwind, & rejuvenate, our comfy guest suite is for you! We welcome singles, couples, small families, long-term guests and the family dog for an addition charge.
