Downhill, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing in the winter. 30 minutes from Bedford, 30 minutes from Altoona, 1 hour from Penn State University. 4 wheel drive recommended in winter

Cozy Cabin With Outdoor Hot Tub

Self check for convenience Tiny cabin with all you need squeezed into it for pleasant stay. It is located on a secluded property not far (5 miles) from major interstates. It is a small guest house across the lawn from our house where my wife and I live. It has window AC and wifi available. Free continental breakfast foods provided. (There is no kitchen) Cleaned to perfection ! We do spray for bugs but it is not unusual to see some spiders and bugs since the cabin is right against the woods.

Beautiful loft at Blue Knob Resort w/hot tub

The mountain is calling you! With or without snow, Blue Knob is a beautiful place to unwind and breathe the fresh mountain air. Tackle the many mountain bike/hiking trails, relax by the fire pit, soothe your soul (and muscles) in the clean, private hot tub and find cross country trails right out your door. Set about a quarter mile of the road, our pet friendly solar powered vacation cottage is a perfect getaway for anyone trying to spend some alone time with nature! Get "lost" to nature in this luxury house for two, located a 5 minute drive from Shy Beaver boat launch. Atop a meandering mountain road, this unique chalet has treetop views, a 30-foot-high living room, and a open bedroom with a king bed. Lots of natural light filters in from skylights and windows.
