This little gem of a spot is on a secluded island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The sound of the rapids will lull you to sleep in your magical tent perched right over the water! With all of the modern conveniences including hot water, outdoor shower, bar fridge, wifi and well appointed outdoor kitchen. This year we are building a treehouse on the island so although we will ensure no construction takes place during your stay, there will be construction materials around on the island

The two level 1,800sf cottage has been carefully designed to integrate with nature with large floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. Come relax and recharge in nature. Welcome to fabulous Pretties Island on Mississippi Lake! 20 mins from Perth or Carleton Place. Featuring a king-sized tempurpedic bed in the primary bedroom, and a double over double bunk in the secondary room. Well-equipped kitchen, full bath, indoor/outdoor dining spaces, fire pit, wifi, smart TV, parking for 2. BBQ, propane, 1 adult kayak, 2 kid's kayaks, and stand-up paddle board included during summer months (BYO life jackets).

Xanadu - Zen waterfront retreat on Upper Rideau

This glorious escape on the Upper Rideau is quiet, relaxing, and incredibly private located back from the water and surrounded by woods. Venture down to the dock to swim, lounge, or watch boats go by. Dogs are welcome but should be leashed by dusk to avoid meeting skunks or porcupines who frequent the area.

Riverfront Bungalow in Carleton Place

Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families, and pets. (yard is not fenced) . Not suitable for anyone with dog allergies. Great for boating, boat access into Mississppi Lake. No air conditioning, but does get a nice breeze from the river.
