If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu after a busy day sightseeing, come and stay with us in the village of Godawari. As you pass through the main entrance of Vardan Resort you will see three beautiful cottages, all built in traditional Nepalese design and named after Budhha - Siddhartha Vihar, Gautam Vihar and Buddha Vihar respectively. Vihar is a Sanskrit word meaning a heavenly place, a place of meditation for Buddha, a place to attain heavenly peace. Vihar is a term used mostly in Buddhist scriptures and practices.
