Thelma’s Place

Thelma’s Place is a completely renovated 2 story house, nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. It’s just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hour’s drive. Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Seven Springs (20 miles away), are other nearby attractions. We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.

Quiet wilderness guest home

Only the number of REGISTERED GUESTS may visit or stay in the home. Eight miles from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, half an hour from Amish country, and a 60-minute drive from Pittsburgh, our home offers a peaceful retreat. PLEASE NOTE: the house is accessed via a rough country driveway. We drive all kinds of vehicles up the hill, but we do not advise bringing your Lamborghini To be clear, this home is regularly used for our family fellowship and is not appropriate for parties.

Sunbeams Cottage

Small home is completely remodeled using traditional woodwork craftsmanship for a warm feel. Full appliances and amenities are supplied in the cottage. Evening and breakfast snacks included. Tasty public tap water for drinking and cooking. Private lane leads to the home with a spacious covered porch overlooking hillside and field. Ideal location at foothills of Laurel Highlands and outskirts of Pittsburgh. Town of Mt. Pleasant is just minutes away providing restaurants and shopping.

River House

Welcome to the River House! A unique rental located in a quiet town along the Allegheny River 35 miles north of Pittsburgh. This second story unit has modern amenities nestled in a Victorian House built in 1862. Located directly across from Kittanning Riverfront Park & Amphitheater. Close proximity to Rails to Trails, Buttermilk Falls, boat launch, trout streams, and many other outdoor activities. Come relax on your private balcony, on the deck over-looking the river, or on the dock.

Comfort Central is in a very safe neighborhood with on street parking. It's 7 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, universities, stadiums, museums and 2 miles from RIDC Park in O'Hara Township. It' conveniently located within an 8 minute drive from the Pennsylvania Turnpike . There is a hospital and park nearby. The Waterworks Mall which includes grocery stores, retail shopping, restaurants, wine and spirits store, fast food , and movie theater is a short 5 minute drive.

It is perfect for a get away with family, friends, or all by yourself! Bike on the Leechburg Tow Path Trail which connects to downtown Leechburg and hundreds of miles of rails to trails in Armstrong County. Float, kayak and fish on the river all within a 40 minute drive to downtown Pittsburgh.
