Our backyard is Grandfather Mountain, and Tanawha Trail is within walking distance of the property for hikers. Grandfather Mountain, Price Park, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, wineries and and all of the restaurants of Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are minutes away. Finish the evening watching stars and chilling on our covered outdoor patio.

Mini-split heat & air. 1m to Watauga River, 2m to Mast General Store & Candy Barrel. 30 min to Sugar Ski Resort, 40 min to top of Beech Mt. Close to hiking, festivals, ASU games! This chalet comes equipped with fishing gear, 2 kayaks and other seasonal toys! Roku TV w/Netflix, Prime, Discovery+, etc.

Suite at Hummingbird Cottage

Nestled in a quiet, secure mountain community, you will find the guest suite. Just outside the door is a remodeled private bathroom with a tiled shower. When staying at the property, you will enjoy a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee and snacks. There is private parking, a private fire pit with chairs, and a completely private entrance. The community offers a lovely lake, and an Olympic-size pool (seasonal). Ask us about visiting Grandfather Mountain for the day as our guest.

The Captains Apt

PLEASE READ only rented with main home. We will not respond to anymore inquiries unless you are already renting the attached home. Just off from the main house is a private apartment for when you need a bit more room and you don't want to sacrifice privacy. It shares a deck with the main house, parking in front, its own entrance with a key code. This space is only rented to those renting the main home at the same time. The main home can still be rented without renting the In law Quarters.

Cozy Crab Orchard Guesthouse Sleeps 6, Near Hiking

The Crab Orchard Guesthouse is tucked in the trees down a short gravel road. This 1 BR, 1 BA home offers guests a place to relax in or outdoors along the Crab Orchard Creek. Ideally located near hiking trails, historic Valle Crucis, the original Mast General Store & Annex, Valle Crucis Park, Grandfather Vineyard & Winery & the town of Banner Elk. There are 2 rentals on the property. The driveway/parking area is shared. Booking both properties together is an option. Dogs allowed with a fee.

Cozy 2 BR guest house w/ balcony by Watauga River

Escape to the beautiful mountains of WNC at our beautiful guest house. Private w/ separate entrance and driveway. Open living space with cozy living room, fireplace, & cook's kitchen with a dining area plus island seating. King master, bunk room w/ double beds. Spacious bathroom w/ full-size W/D. Our labor of love for 3 years! The guest house is completed and beautiful. We are still putting the finishing touches on the main house and landscaping, so please pardon our work in progress.

This is a guest house directly adjacent to the main house.

AND DECAF COFFEE AS WELL AS TEA AND A VARIETY OF BREAKFAST BARS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT. YOU MAY ENJOY THE ROCKING CHAIRS ON THE BACK PORCH OR SIT ON THE LITTLE DECK. THERE IS A BEAUTIFULLY LANDSCAPED CATCH AND RELEASE POND OUT FRONT AND A YARD SWING IN FRONT OF THE POND FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

The Kind Cottage in the Heart of Downtown

A cozy 2-bedroom guest cottage convenient to downtown Spruce Pine. Super close to multiple coffee shops, restaurants, shops, galleries, a park, and local events. A grocery store and gas station is nearby. Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Penland School of Craft, lots of hiking. Only about 35-40 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Beech and Appalachian are other ski areas, but they are a bit further away. Linville Gorge, Grandfather Mountain, and Mt Mitchell are easily day hikes.

Adventure Basecamp in Linville Gorge

Come stay minutes away from the beautiful Linville Gorge. This area has everything from amazing hiking, mountain biking, climbing, skiing, snowtubing, to just enjoying the breathtaking scenery. This is a one bedroom guest house separate from the main house located in the neighborhood of Gingercake Acres with an amazing view throughout the space. There is also a bonus room with a futon. Enjoy sitting on the deck and enjoying a view of the mountains and a spectacular sunrise.
