Loch Ness Hideaways - Silver Birch Chalet

Silver Birch Chalet on our 15 acre croft, is tucked away in the hills 2 miles from the south side of Loch Ness. It has a steep access path & may not suit those with walking difficulties. Walk across our fields, to forest paths, you will rarely meet anyone except for deer. BBQ & outdoor seating. If you like to be very close to pubs, cafes, shops, etc - this place is not for you. If you like seclusion, great scenery & wildlife, & somewhere you can bring the family dog - we hope you'll love it!

Set in a beautiful Glen, within walking distance of local amenities: including cafes and local shop . Local hotels also serve food in the evenings if you don't feel like cooking. The quite scenic side of Loch but half way between Inverness and Fort Augustus, so lots to see and do. Visit the Falls of Foyers and access the South Loch Ness Trail. Own transport advisable.

The Bothy Errogie Near Loch Ness

The Bothy is located in Errogie by the banks of Loch Mhor. It has private parking, an enclosed garden, cosy livingroom with wood burner and 2 bedrooms. Loch Mhor is a 5 minute walk away. There are many trails and wooded areas to go walking. Loch Ness and Foyers is a 10 minute drive. Visit the Loch Ness exhibition centre and Urquhart Castle. Fort Augustus is 13 miles away and offers spectacular views down Loch Ness. Inverness is 20 miles away and offers a variety of shops and restaurants.

Dunaincroy farmhouse enjoys a unique setting on the Caledonian Canal midway between iconic Loch Ness and the town of Inverness (6 minutes either way.) Steeped in history the local area offers numerous opportunities to delve into Scotland's past by visiting such sites as Culloden Moor, Clava Cairns and the many castles and brochs.

Njord Cabin was designed with a strong focus on environmental integrity and considered integration of its architectural design with the surrounding natural landscape. Urquhart Bay Barn

Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.

From the comfort of the Lodge you might see Red kite, Stoat and Hare. Pheasant, Sheep, Deer, Lapwing, Buzzards, Bats and Ravens. Rooks, eagle Curlew, pine Marten, Deer and more. Scan the miles of view from your private secluded decking. The Lodge is very well insulated, cozy. This private Cottage is right on the banks of the world famous Loch Ness, including 2 private beaches just for you. Unlike many Loch Ness cottages, we are not on a road, just the garden between us and the Loch. You’ll love the panoramic views of Loch Ness, the idyllic location, private beaches, and total peace and quiet. 1 or 2 well behaved dogs (small or medium size) welcome. In July and August, Saturday arrivals/departures only.
