Family Suite central to JMU, downtown & mountains

Beau and Amanda have a lovely family suite and it was perfect for our stay which they accommodated in very short notice. Everything was top notch - extremely comfortable beds & pillows, quality bedding & towels, and all the touches were well thought out with the coffee bar, water in the fridge, extra blankets, sound/white noise machine, and several outlets. Communication was awesome and I appreciated all the great recommendations for dining in Harrisonburg. Thanks again for saving our family Easter weekend!!

"Country Star"- Suite at Cross Keys

I was so happy to find Regina’s unit available right before the holidays allowing a quick visit with family from out-of-state. Whether traveling solo or as a couple, this unit is so comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Loved all the subtly festive touches for the holiday.

What a wonderful place to stay! Waking up in the morning, on a comfortable bed, and getting to sit in the sun room with the amazing views of the farm while having a cup of coffee was so so so relaxing. We honestly wanted to stay longer! I would love to go stay a week there to just relax and get away. Jean’s place had all that you needed to be very comfortable and well taken care of. We loved visiting with the goats and Ursa the great pyrenees. Jean’s local recommendations were so welcomed and were some of the best things we did while in the area, from the local mill with the apple butter festival, to the blue ridge parkway which is only about 10-15 mins away. We also took her recommendation to go to crab tree falls, which was a very lovely waterfall hike, one of the best we have ever been to. We hope to be back someday to enjoy their place again, as it surely helped us to make memories we will not soon forget.

Summit Escape - Private deck, valley view

We were in Harrisonburg to visit EMU for a track meet. This was just about 1 mile to campus for very easy back and forth. The peaceful deck and views were just what we needed after a loud track meet for two consecutive days. Everything was spotlessly clean, Michael was kind and clear in all his communications and the king bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this property!

Suite Clementine for a quaint Spring getaway

Beautiful mountain property, with sunrise views and sounds of the river below. We enjoyed breakfast and bird watching on the private patio. Secluded but still so close to town! Ellie and Donna were wonderful hosts, and we loved meeting their cats. Heads up, there is some noise transfer from upstairs, but the downstairs 'suite' is truly magical, and we'd love to be back.

We were completely comfortable in this delightfully outfitted bnb. Lots of charm, many special touches to welcome us, a quiet neighborhood, luxurious towels, 2 great nights of sleep, and a lovely front porch with flowers & a swing made for an excellent,peaceful stay. Close to Rockfish Gap and hikes on the Skyline Drive. Monticello is 30 minutes East of town. We would like to schedule another stay when we return to the area. The best hosts!

Becca understands what makes sense in the set-up of a suite. The TV was situated and installed for optimal viewing from a large couch. There was more than ample space and shelves in the bathroom for medications, tooth care, and other things that people need there. The beds were bar none the best beds we’ve ever found in an AirBnB or any hotel for that matter. There was ROOM to move around. A nice big table. Electrical outlets were plentiful and placed for ease of use. Becca is someone who put a lot of thought and common sense into their AirBnB. We’ll be back!!

Friendly City Garden Sanctuary Three Bedroom Suite

The place itself would make the stay worth it but when you add in the incredible hosts, you just can’t beat it. The space is beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming. David communicated with me from the start about the difficulties I might encounter staying there with my 1.5 year old (it all worked out great). My cousins and I stayed to be close to my grandparents and it was easy to come and go. The rooms were beautiful and the artwork amazing. I would stay again just to hangout with the host. We are planning on coming back when the garden is fully out!! Thank you for such a great stay!

Sallys place reminds me of how Airbnb used to be.. renting a place for a night or two without spending a fortune. Easy check in/out plus a comfortable stay. What more could you ask for? Thanks again!

Private Suite w/ Kitchen & Views

Stayed at Pete & Kyle’s as a halfway point for our drive south to Tennessee, both on the way down and then again on the way back north. It was as advertised and exactly what our family needed as a quick layover before we got back on the road. Place was extremely clean, located in a beautiful area, and a part of a wonderful house. I don’t think we could have asked for anything more.

Amy’s place is adorable and close to many amenities. She was very thoughtful about items a single traveler might need (coffee cream, woo hoo)! It was cozy, quiet and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Amy answered all of my questions quickly and was very willing to provide whatever I needed. The setting is peaceful and next time I stay, I want to walk the back fields! A true gem!
