Onetangi Beach "Cabin At The Beach" Waiheke Island

The space is a simple and cute cabin above Craig’s house. Very homey and lovely views over Onetangi beach. Craig was a very friendly and welcoming host who gave great recommendations and gave us a lift to a winery for a much better rate than a taxi would offer. The provided breakfast (home made stewed fruits, yoghurt and muesli) was delicious and we were also able to use the kayaks. Overall a great place to stay to experience a local Waiheke lifestyle.

The Rimu Hut - Cosy Bush Escape

Perfect place for a weekend away with our toddler. We loved being able to step outside and go on a bush walk. The bush track was longer than we expected but beautiful with lots of birds and mushrooms along the way to keep out little one amused. The bed was comfy and all of the basics were there.

오클랜드 공항과의 거리와 한적함을 보고 결정했는데 탁월한 선택이었습니다. 딸기밭과 앞의 아름다운 나무, 잔디, 노을 풍경을 바라보는것 만으로도 휴식이 되기에 충분합니다. 필요한 모든것이 갖춰진 집이고, 물이 너무 좋아 피부까지 좋아진것 같아요. 개방감과 쾌적함의 레벨이 높아요. 해가 진 후에 도착했는데 다이애나가 뛰어나와 체크인, 주차안내를 적극적으로 도와주었어요. 아름답고 친절한 호스트입니다:) 감사했습니다 🙏

This is a great spot just outside Oneroa, only a few mins into the town with loads of great restaurants and cafes, and beautiful coastline. However, it’s still very peaceful and private. Well designed space with thoughtful supplies left for us. Thanks!

Best place to stay in Waiheke. Lovely, clean, self contained pad with lots of lovely touches. Marcus and Astrid make you feel right at home. We had a quiet restful time enjoying the view from the verandah and a swim at the beach. The bus stop is only 5 minutes away which makes visiting the rest of the island a breeze. Thank you for a lovely stay

Maybe one of the best views in the area, The location is really good. You don't really notice the road because you can't see it and it is below you. You are lined up with the public roadside overview, which also doesn't intrude on the space, it's private, but it means you have an amazing view. indoor outdoor living, I really liked it, but am used to cabin living. It's a bach, a bit quirky. You cook outdoors, which could be challenging if it were raining. Altogether I found it to be a very pleasant place.

The cottage is very cosy with a queen bed in bedroom and another bed with pull-out in the living area. There are two hot plates that are fine for reheating but not suitable for any serious cooking. The cat and labradors are good company. There is a fabulous view from the veranda and a short bush walk to explore.

Karekare Cabin

We had a fabulous stay at Pinki’s cabin! The sunsets were AMAZING and the tranquility of the location something special. Great place from which to explore Karekare and piha as well as just relax on the deck. The cabin was perfectly set up for 2 people. Outdoor shower a real plus too. Only thing I would do differently next time would be to bring some mosquito coils and/or plug-in diffuser to help keep the bugs out of the cabin in the evening. And, if the weather is forecasted to be warm overnight, an electric fan. We would highly recommend Pinki’s place for your next stay!

We had a great few days in the bach which was nestled in the bush only a few minutes walk from the beach. We enjoyed the art that was hung about the place and the kitchen was well equipped. The highlight for us were the windows that wrap around the whole lounge that make you feel like you are right in the middle of the canopy.

Idyllic little setting, beautiful place surrounded by nature. Walk into onetangi or up and along the footpath to the Heke, Postage Stamp and Tanatalus. Hut was perfect, loved the climb up to the bed and window looking out into the trees. Hot tub was such a treat, and there’s a gas bbq. Everything you need, would highly recommend! Hosts were communicative, really accommodating and flexible.

Le séjour s’est passé sans aucun problème aux côtés de Alison & Danny. Très accueillant et sympathique, on a pu passer de bon moments convivial ensemble. J’ai également reçu de l’aide pour toutes les démarches nécessaires à faire pour un backpacker en Nouvelle-Zélande. Je recommande pour un premier logement pour un backpacker à Auckland ou pour y passer un séjour tranquillement.

Nous avons passés une excellente semaine chez Alison et Danny. Si vous venez d’arriver en Nouvelle-Zélande (comme nous), nous vous recommandons fortement ce logement. Alison et Danny pourront vous donner d’excellents conseils. L’ambiance au sein de la maison était génial, nous étions avec un autre couple de français, un italien, un écossais et une argentines. Encore un immense merci à eux deux pour leur hospitalité et leur gentillesse tout au long de ce séjour.

Amazing place to stay. Close to Auckland yet a truly remote feel to the place and area. Being able to fully switch off from the outside world, listen to an amazing record collection was magical. Break that up with some local hiking, board games, the odd movie from the wall of DVD’s… we will definitely be back!

Fleetwood is one of a kind. This experience will nourish you in ever sense— breath taking beauty and pure tranquility. Jac’s—the mastermind and designer behind Fleetwood—has poured heart, care and thought into every aspect of the property, accommodations and guest experience. She is a true curator of art. The experience is like that of a luxury hotel with high quality natural and organic linens, towels, toiletries, etc—coupled with her decades of collecting beautiful art and her own immaculate photo work. I could go on but baseline is that if you are considering Fleetwood as a place to stay, you are definitely being called there for a reason! The host is magic as is every inch of the experience.

Had a great getaway here. Explored down to the secret waterfall which was awesome. Loved the simple cosy vibe of the space. Experienced the place during a storm - leading to us getting a little wet when running outside to the bathroom / kitchen. Overall would recommend!

We had a lovely time at Bob's helping us get grounded in New Zealand as we just moved here. Bob is such a lovely host, very engaging, eager to help and friendly it made the experience so worthwhile! The airbnb is as noted. While living so close to the hosts they are so respectful of privacy. We stayed for 10 days and it felt like home- will be likely going back!
