Casa Amate is a unique glass-fronted home built into the mountain-side overlooking one of the world's most beautiful freshwater lakes. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, sleeping six, this is the perfect place to relax, unwind and take in the spectacular views of the lake and its three volcanoes. Built into the rock face, but still on right on the lake front, the house cascades down four levels, with numerous terraces. The space is defined by the rock face, glass, concrete, wood & light.

The solar only heated hottub is not hot on rainy or cloudy days.

Casa Serenidad - A Santa Cruz Lake Front Stay

Casa Serenidad is a lakefront cottage with lush gardens secluded enough to be alone with nature, but within 3-5 minutes away from Isla Verde, a hotel with a restaurant that offers delicious food, and it’s usually open to the public. The property is only accessible by boat but its approx. a 15 minute walk to the town of Santa Cruz, and very close to kayak and paddle board rentals. We are about a 10 minute boat ride to Panajachel.

Ten acres of beautiful gardens and a shared pool overlook the lake and volcanoes, creating a paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers. There are 6 properties on the estate. Please note there are many steps from the dock to the property. Arrive by boat only, and bring a torch if arriving after dark.
