Visiting from the US, my family and I loved the location - right in the heart of Hillsborough village. The park/trail, playground, shops and restaurants are all just a short walk away. There’s a Co-Op convenience store just across the street which was useful. While the place is cozy and full of character, we appreciated having the updated kitchen and amenities. We will definitely stay the next time we’re visiting family in the area!

Judith et son mari son très accueillant, malgré notre niveau d'anglais (nul), nous avons réussi à communiquer. Ils nous ont conseillés sur un très bon restaurant, magasin, sorties. Le cottage est très bien équipé, spacieux, très cosy et très britisch! Il est à proximité du centre ville où il y a des commerces, restaurants, pub ... A 15min de Lisburn où vous pouvez prendre le train pour Belfast ou Derry Je recommande vivement !

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb! The cabin itself was absolutely adorable — cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The surroundings were incredibly peaceful and beautiful, with stunning views and serene nature all around. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and escape from the hustle of everyday life. Waking up to the sounds of birds and sitting out with a morning coffee was such a treat. We had a fantastic time and genuinely didn’t want to leave. Would absolutely recommend this lovely spot to anyone looking for a tranquil, beautiful retreat, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again soon!

We’ve stayed at Rob and Bex’s place a few times now and always enjoy our time there. Lovely character and comfortable in a fabulous location. Thanks to you both.

honestly can't wait to go back, Gelynne was so helpful and friendly, she gave my daughter a ride on the quad and we went on the little pedal boats there was a good bit to do, we also got a bigger place than expected which had a little play area for my daughter, the place was perfect!

We had THE MOST wonderful stay here for the Bank Holiday weekend and cannot wait to go back! Fabulous, warm, bubbly host who made us feel right at home in an idyllic location of absolute peace and quiet. The property exceeded our expectations in every way and were gutted to leave. We cannot recommened highly enough. Thank you so, so much!!

Second time staying at Barbara’s place and it was excellent as before. This time we stayed during storm Eowyn and Barbara and her husband were kind enough to deliver emergency supplies in the event we lost power. Thankfully we didn’t need the supplies, but it shows the type of host she is. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Hands down one of the better places I’ve stayed around the world. The place was perfect for our group (6 people), spacious even though there was only 1 toilet. Shirley stocked the kitchen over and above expectations. Her place is quiet and peaceful but close to Belfast. All amenities worked perfectly, the place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Important.y the beds were fantastic and we slept very well. This is definitely a place to stay if you’re in the area.
