The Old Byre

The Old Byre, Langal is a lovely holiday cottage nestled on the shores of Loch Shiel, four miles outside the village of Acharacle This delightful, traditional building has now been sensitively restored retaining the charm of the original building, yet boasting all modern comforts, ensuring your stay is comfortable and relaxing. The Cottage has a sunny, south facing aspect overlooking Ben Resipole. A well placed base this is for exploring this beautiful part of North West Scotland.

North Morar Pod

PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION PRIOR TO BOOKING. Our camping pod is set in the small village of Bracara and has stunning uninterrupted views of Loch Morar. Please note: We DO NOT have Wi-Fi or phone reception at the pod (phone reception is available around 1.5 miles back along the road en route to the pod) We are situated a short 5 minute drive to the famous Morar Silver Sands and Camusdaroch beaches and 10 minutes from Mallaig village where guests will find shops, bars and restaurants.

The cottage was built around 1890 to house the Ploughman for Goatfield Farm, and has been extensively remodelled to create a unique getaway. Its peaceful location and idyllic surroundings offer a perfect getaway for those wanting to experience the West Highlands at its best. It’s a traditional cosy little cottage featuring underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. It’s tastefully renovated, comfortably furnished and well equipped with hopefully everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay.

Garramor Cottage is a modern, one bedroom house . The living room is bright and airy with french doors leading out to the deck and woods beyond. Surrounded by trees, it is a very calm and peaceful setting. It is a 5 mile drive to Mallaig where you can get the ferry across to Skye. Local beaches such as Camusdarach Beach with their white sands are great to explore and just a short walk away.

Stunning remote cottage by the sea and mull

Mill House Steading is a contemporary conversion of a historic barn into a 2 bedroom architect designed home. The balcony overlooks the burn with views across the Sound of Mull to Tobermory. See countryfile series17 episode 7 to see the beauty of the landscape around us. The bay is perfect for watersports. The renovation was completed in March 2020 and provides stunning accommodation.
