We went for a girls mini getaway on the off season and fell in love with this property. It was stunning, peaceful, and cozy. The house itself had all the necessities to cook and just relax if we wanted. Alice and her cohost were great! They provided snacks and ingredients to make smores. Also, I loved the binder provided that gave instructions for the property and recommendations for food/ activities in the surrounding community. I definitely hope to return in the future to enjoy the property more as we had rain but made the absolute best of it! If you have a smaller vehicle I would use caution with the driveway as it is quite steep descend to the house. Overall absolutely breathtaking 😍 property and fabulous hosts!

A comfy and cozy place, 2 blocks to downtown Belfast. Very nice amenities.

This was a beautiful apartment to stay in, the view to the Union river, and evergreen trees was absolutely gorgeous. The apartment was clean and well designed and had lots of space. A short walk to Josie‘s country store & Café every morning for breakfast was perfect. A quick drive into downtown Ellsworth, where there are lots of restaurants, shops and pubs, then a bit further to Acadia national park, roughly a half hour drive, in April. We loved hiking in Acadia on Bar Harbor Island. What a great visit to Maine!

For our family vacation this was perfect. The kids can sled right on the property. Jay has lights along the trail for night sledding as well. We tried ice fishing for the first time and had fun with that. Our mission was for snowmobiling though, and this is a good starting point. Ride directly from the cabin without any hassles. Jay is a fantastic host. He happened to be staying at The Boathouse (next to The Bunkhouse) for a few days for his kids' school vacation, and he could not have been any friendlier. We are already looking forward to next year. The Bunkhouse is not the fanciest cabin on the lake, nor is it intended to be. It is designed for sleeping a good crowd of people who are motivated around outdoor activities. The wood stove makes returning to the cabin that much more enjoyable. The view of the lake and mountains is hard to beat, considering the tall pines surrounding the area. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would return again without thinking about it.

We stayed with our 2 dogs for a little over a week and we had the best time! The cleanliness of the place was absolutely impeccable, the house was spacious and had everything we needed. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops nearby and the short drive to Acadia national park and Bar Harbor was super convenient. We’d absolutely come back and would recommend Dereks place to everyone.

We were immediately charmed by this pristine, cozy cottage by the ocean. The view is incredible and the atmosphere relaxed and inviting. Ashley and her hospitality crew are so friendly and helpful. Felt like we had known them for a while! Very difficult to leave this beautiful place.and hope to return someday.

Thank you for your hospitality! Great space for a group of us to share the night before a marathon. Plenty of rooms, a spacious kitchen for making food, and multiple bathrooms for getting ready!

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

Enjoyed our stay very much no complaints other than it’s a bit of a drive to most things but that’s the trade off for tranquility. Beautiful environment and comfortable living space. Would definitely visit again without hesitation.
