Reconnect with nature at this peaceful escape. Do you like to camp and just want to get away without the hassle of pitching a tent? We've done the work for you! Just bring your camping necessities and enjoy the peace and solitude. Your site has a fire pit, plenty of firewood, port-o-john and a stream running right beside. Take a walk and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Small pond to fish, which is catch and release. Read a good book, drink hot coffee and unplug and rewind! Wifi is limited.

Farmhouse Retreat at Wreck Island #NoCleaningFee!

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Gameroom with PS4, full size pool table and family friendly board games is sure to keep everyone entertained. Large back deck with hot tub and outdoor shower overlooking Wreck Island Creek for relaxing. Outdoor grill and firepit for roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories about this historic county of Appomattox. Then come in and relax by the fireplace and enjoy the large screen tv complete with movies.

Field of Dreams Creekside Camping

This is a quiet, serene spot where you will not be disturbed. We have a fire pit and tent camping right beside the creek. There is plenty of room for two tents and some hammocks. Our property is 13 acres (which you are welcome to explore) and behind our property is a field with cattle. We are only a 5 minute drive from the James River and area to launch kayaks/canoes. Great hiking is nearby and downtown Lynchburg is only 15 minutes away. Liberty University is 12 minutes away.
