Notch Hostel - The Pinkham Room (Shared)

Bed in shared bunk room at the Notch Hostel, a farmhouse-turned-hostel with communal bathrooms, kitchen, living room. Bunk room sleeps a total of 8 people; you will be sharing room with other guests. 1st floor. Deck off the room where you can enjoy your coffee and watch the many birds that frequent the hostel. This room is dog-friendly! We allow one dog per night, you must ask if we have space before booking with a dog. $20/dog/night. Dogs must be leashed, may not be left unattended at hostel.

All guests are required to show proof of travel by one of the following two options: 1. A foreign passport (must be current with a port of entry stamp with in past 1 year) 2. A U.S. government issued photo ID (must be current with address outside of Chattanooga and the surrounding area) + matching credit card or debit card NOTE: This booking gets you a Top or Bottom Bunk, if you cannot climb into the top bunk (using the bunkbed stairs) please call us to make sure a bottom bunk is available.

Our building, originally an elementary school, has been turned into a community space we are keeping alive with endeavours such as this hostel. We are located in the beautiful town of Port Mouton on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, home to many beautiful white sand beaches and restaurants (seasonal) within a 2 to 5 minute drive. We are 10 minutes from the closest town (Liverpool).

Romp of Otters at the Acorn

The Acorn is part of the 60 acre, 137 year old Oakland House property that has been operated as a summer vacation destination since it was opened to guests on July 4th, 1889. Once an ice house and even a casino, the Acorn is a quaintly rustic piece of history we hope you enjoy! Romp of Otters is a private room with one queen bed and is tastefully decorated with antique furnishings. Room is accessed from an exterior staircase off the porch.
