Barn Stay at Shadowbrook Farm

Welcome to the Shadowbrook Farm Stay. Tucked in the hills of upstate New York, this 1700's Shaker barn has been restored into a beautiful guest house. It sits upon a two hundred acre working pasture raised meat farm. This barn was used to hold, and milk cows for two hundred and fifty years. Guests will have access to portions of the farm lands which are highlighted on the maps provided in the Farm Stay manual. If you follow the farm road, you are able to meet every farm animal on the property!

The Silo was finished in Nov 2018. We’ve been renovating this old 1950’s dairy barn/silo since 2013. The Silo has 4 floors and the top 2 are yours! There’s a sitting area on the third floor (and bath). The bedroom is at the very top with windows all around and 360°view ! Also your own private deck off the bedroom.

The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It has been completely redone and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with beautiful views. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Animal Lovers Dream! Barn Loft in Burlington

Experience life on a tiny farm just outside the city! Stay in our charming and comfortable barn loft and wake up to the sounds of chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, goats and horses and our adorable Highland cows. Spend time watching or interacting with all the very friendly animals that surround the barn. You will meet all the animals as they all come up readily to anyone who visits the farm. Welcome to The Barn! Peacefully nestled in the woods on the top of a beautiful ridge. Located directly off of Rt. 35, and only a mile off of US 322, gets you to State College or Harrisburg in around 45 minutes. With plenty around to do, we are only 10 minutes from the nationally known, Port Royal Speedway. Close to state parks, ski resorts, fly fishing, hiking and kayaking. And local Amish produce and wineries just down the road!
