Secluded northern peaceful getaway in the woods.

Cozy comfort in the woods. Secluded getaway, house is set back 1/2 mile in the woods on 70 forested private acres. Artesian well-fed pond & fire pit. Adjacent to over 4,000 acres of state land with trails, sinkholes, fossils, and pristine Lake Huron Lakeshore. Quiet, peaceful setting. Clean, comfortable and updated house with all amenities. Stunning night skies. Wake up and walk out onto the deck to enjoy the amazing songs of the Wood Thrush, Veery Thrush and Hermit Thrushes. Wildlife abound.

“Mizu House” Cozy and modern lake house

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway nestled on the banks of west Long Lake. House "La Mer Douce"

A historic home in downtown Alpena MI along the shores of Lake Huron, most likely built in the early 1900's. House "La Mer Douce" is charming and comfortable. If these walls could talk...they would share stories about Alpena and the early commercial fishing port that soon after soon grew to be one of the nation’s most profitable lumber harvesting locations. Holidays at the Lake, family dinners and taking in the fresh air. We hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do!

Location, View, Hot Tub, Shop, Restaurants, Beach

My place is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Alpena. There are a variety of restaurants and bars all within 1/4 mile. Lake Huron is my front yard, with tennis and basketball courts available for public use. The Alpena bandshell is a hop and skip from my house; every Saturday there’s a concert in the summer. There are two public beaches within a mile. And you can see masts from sailboats out my front window as the boat harbor is my neighbor.

Relax at this peaceful log Cabin on The Shores of Lake Huron. With plenty of space for the whole family, this property is within minutes from downtown Alpena. Lions Den Cabin in the middle of the woods located on 80 acres with 1000 acres of state land surrounding, Peace and quiet and a beautiful setting with wildlife at every turn. Close to ORV and snowmobile trails. Perfect for the outdoor adventurer with lots of room for trailers and vehicles. This is a modern and beautiful cabin with all the comforts of home, includes WiFi. No shooting allowed on property except during deer rifling hunting season.

Lakefront oasis....Beaver Lake is an all sports 665 acre gem, located in northern Michigan. Enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking or just relaxing on this 77' deep crystal clear inland lake. We have a blue aqua-cycle that guests may use, but we ask that all guests wear life jackets if you do choose to use the aqua-cycle. (life jackets are hanging up in the bedroom closet.)
