It has a private patio overlooking the River which captures the sun from morning until evening. Whether you're looking for a one night business stopover, a couple of nights to attend a wedding at the Brig O'Doon, or a self catering holiday break, Doonbank Cottage's Bothy offers an exclusive, flexible & private accommodation. The Bothy is a beautifully presented & spacious, one bed detached house. Set in 4 acres of woodland on the banks of the River Doon & forming part of Doonbank Cottage's woodland garden, it is a very peaceful and quiet location. One (medium sized) dog allowed.

The house is at the quieter residential end but still within easy walking distance of Ayr Town centre's shops, restaurants and pubs. The beachfront indoor and outdoor playparks are 5 mins walk away. Belleisle Park is nearby with it's excellent municipal Golf course and gardens. NowTV , Disney+ and Netflix are also included along with a Wii console and games.

The local grocery shop is a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.
