Quiet Retreat - 5 Minutes from Douthat State Park

This quiet house is ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located only 2 miles from the entrance to Douthat State Park (5 minute drive). Great for those who want all the amenities of home and privacy while also enjoying all that the park and the surrounding area have to offer. A short 7 minute drive to the historic town of Clifton Forge (small shops, restaurants, and grocery). Fully furnished. WiFi throughout. Ample parking. Great view of the stars at night!

The Guest House

WE DO NOT HAVE CABLE TV. UP A FLIGHT of STAIRS is a spacious apartment next to The Historic Masonic Theatre in the center of town. The building is built above Smith Creek and the comforting sound will lull you to sleep. The mattresses are comfy pillow tops and we have plenty of seating. You will be within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. Unfortunately this listing is not handicapped accessible due to the stairs and if you have any allergies be aware we allow guests to have dogs.

Unique & Cozy Gypsy Wagon on The Cowpasture River

Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem. The Gypsy Rose is situated near the beautiful Cow Pasture River. With stunning views that can even be seen from your bed. Take a stroll to the river, or up the driveway to see the animals. Enjoy your coffee at the fire ring while you take in the mountain views or sit inside. There is a kitchen area, with basic dishes and pans for cooking, with a stove inside that converts to a heater and a small sink. The 1/2 bath is the outhouse located near by.

The cabin is situated on our multigenerational, operational farm. Experience rural life in depth. This unique stay provides endless opportunities for exploring and experiencing Mother Nature’s bounty at its best! Falling Springs falls, the Jackson River, The Homestead and The Greenbrier Resort are all nearby! Outdoor activities are available throughout the area: ample hiking trails, kayaking excursions, fishing, Lake Moomaw, the infamous natural, warm spring waters bubbling from the earth, etc.!

Cabin On The Creek

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Peaceful farm cabin on the James River

Escape to a serene cabin to watch the sun rise over the mountain from a screened-in porch or sleep in and have a river beach picnic later. Kayak, canoe, swim, hike, watch wildlife or just use River's Bend Cabin as your base station for many other recreational activities in the area. The back deck curling to the edge of the bluff over the river is sure to provide marvelous memories of a romantic sunset or family celebration. Finish the end of a great day by star-gazing in the Dark Sky.

Farm's Edge Cabin at Apple Horse Farm

This cozy, secluded cabin sits on the edge of a 1000-acre farm overlooking rolling hay fields. This is the perfect spot for solo travelers, families, or couples to relax, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors. Find yourself drinking coffee, finishing up work, or deep in a good book in the sunroom. Then fill your day with outdoor activities throughout the Allegheny Highlands. At night, grill out and enjoy dinner around the table. Then light a bonfire and stargaze before ending the night.

Coach Eddie's River View

Outdoor adventure meets mountain serenity at this beautiful riverfront home - perfect for kayaking, fishing, floating, and relaxing. Ideally located between The Homestead & The Greenbrier, and close to Falling Spring Falls, Lake Moomaw, and Douthat State Park. Features include an open layout, equipped kitchen, heated/cooled sunroom, and two spacious bedrooms with en suite baths. Enjoy a deck with pergola, steps down to the river and nearby public access for easy floats.

Private Cottage on beautiful Craig Creek

This totally renovated cabin sits by the banks of beautiful Craig Creek. The Hideaway backs up to the 4,600+ acre Grace Furnace tract of National Forest. There are no neighbors in sight and the traffic is sparse.Sit on the screened porch or relax by the water's edge with the fire pit. The water is usually deep enough to swim in front of the house, and you can float for miles! You can fish right from the yard and catch trout, small-mouth bass, rock bass, and lots more!

Enjoy our private & cozy one bedroom studio retreat nestled creekside in the heart of White Sulphur Springs. Located upstairs in Gum Store Studios (a home for Art & Soul), this newly built space in an artfully rehabilitated building is the perfect mix of comfort and history. Traveling with friends and need a second bedroom or just don't like occasional neighbors? Residence B shares the entry deck and is available individually or combined as a 2 bedroom/bathroom.
