Rustic Cabin on Cacapon River for Private Getaway

Rustic, 100+ year old primitive mountain cabin in West Virginia along the Cacapon River. Beautifully restored with wood stove, loft, & screened in porch. Access to 214 acres of private mountain land & over 1/4 mile of river frontage plus 1/2 acre pond, trails, and private shooting range. This cabin is 1-room and completely off grid. It has NO electricity or plumbing/running water, but does have a Porta-John serviced weekly. Renter will be cabin camping so pack accordingly; tents also welcome.

The Acorn Palace is a treehouse-like tiny house perched high in the woods, surrounded by trees, with spectacular views of the forest and Rocky Gap State Park from the front porch and windows on all sides. It's perfect for those who want to escape to nature, but like their creature comforts: micro-kitchen, tiny woodstove, fire-ring, wi-fi, heat, A/C, hand-washing sink and incinerating toilet. A short walk down the hill is the hot-water shower, flush toilets and sinks (shared with other guests).

It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin situated on 6+ acres in the mountains outside Berkeley Springs, WV. It includes spacious outdoor living space, a hot tub, sauna, grill and a separate bathhouse.
