Glennhouse Getaway

Glennhouse Getaway is an elevated nature escape that is conveniently located between downtown South Haven, Douglas and Saugatuck, MI. It is beautifully surrounded by a private beach, sand dunes, driftwood, beach stones, and Lake Michigan. Enjoy the wrap around spacious deck, gameroom, the sunset on the beach (only 7min walk) or the stars at night by the firepit. Any meals can be enjoyed on our three season porch as well. Bird's Nest Cozy Farm Getaway

The Birds Nest is an above-the-garage studio apartment with a view of the valley and our working farm. Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, our 36 acres provide a respite for the body and soul with trails and vistas, and engage the mind in sustainable agriculture with a discount on our Farm Tour & Tasting. Our water is from a well. It is tested regularly and is completely safe though it can have a sulfur smell at times. There is an RO filter/faucet in the kitchen for drinking water.

Our cozy 1930's cottage sleeps up to 6. The open-concept living/dining area has a queen sleeper sofa adjacent to a full kitchen. The separate bedroom has a queen-size bed and is located next to a small bathroom with vanity, toilet and shower. A spiral staircase leads up to a lofted area that provides another space to get away and relax, with twin mattresses on 2 separate built-in platforms. With this 4 bedroom, 3 full bath cottage you are not just renting a vacation rental but an adventure! This cottage has access to Silver lake (approx. 200 yards, house not directly on the lake), a beach a dock, 2 kayaks, paddle board, and a golf cart to get to the lake. Paddle to downtown Saugatuck or down the river to Lake Michigan. If you chose to relax in the cottage you can relax on one of two large decks, play pool, indoor shuffle board table, or sit in the hot tub.
