Wee Varrich

Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.

The four Beechworth Cedar Cottages are situated on 2 acres of garden, 900 mtrs from the town centre, 300 mtrs from Lake Sambell beach, and close to the start of the EPIC trail & the Mountain bike park. Note: We are located on the Rail trail. Each of our 2 bedroom cottages can be booked as either 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom with bedding configuration of King or Single beds. Enjoy relaxing in your own Spa bath or sit out on the deck taking in the garden views and watching the native bird life.

The Shed House - Unique Farm Stay

The Shed House is a spacious, two-bedroom retreat just 7 minutes from historic Yackandandah. Surrounded by beautiful established gardens, it offers sweeping views over rolling farmland and to the mountains beyond. The property is a 150-acre working farm, where we raise grass-fed beef and grow seasonal vegetables for the Yack community. After a day of exploring, unwind in the vintage bathtub or relax under the vine-covered verandah and watch the sun slip behind the mountains.
