Bed in the Bog was perfect for our weekend getaway! Kate was an excellent host, the yurt was spacious and cozy, and exactly as the post described. I would recommend to anyone who wants to experience a quiet stay near Homer and surrounding areas.

Great place to stop for the night on the way to/from Fairbanks. We’ll have to come back in the snowy season and bring our snowmachines!

I coined a term for this place, ‘Yurtopia.’ This place was absolutely awesome- a legitimate yurt village, super well tended to, cozy, clean, and unique in all the ways.

My husband and I are local Alaskans, and decided to escape for the weekend from Wasilla to Seward. We couldn't have picked a better spot than this charming yurt village. Our yurt was not only cozy, but also spotless, making us feel instantly at home. The outdoor kitchen was well-equipped, providing everything we needed to whip up a meal. We also loved the outdoor seating area, which was perfect for playing games and socializing with fellow guests. It truly was a magical getaway, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

We enjoyed our stay at this really magical yurt camp, it felt like a really unique experience! The camp kitchen was well organized and charming, and the shared bathrooms and showers were super clean. we highly recommend!

We loved Colleen’s yurts and really appreciate all that she does to keep them in great condition for guests. The view to the mountains was clear our first night. It was a bit cloudier the second night, but we still had a great time cozy inside. The drive up is definitely challenging in the winter, so if you can minimize that you’ll likely have a better stay.

Loved this cute cabin, perfect location for xc skiing and shopping in the town. Loved the sauna as well!! Marne was so helpful!

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! The host’s attention to detail is impressive, and the home shows pride of ownership through and through. Very peaceful also. Would stay here again!

We loved staying at the yurt at Calypso Farm. They have an amazing operation going on, alot of community outreach and some darn good vibes going on! Be sure to take a walking tour of their setup, Smithy, woodworking building, fiber studio, sheep n goats, an amazing rooster….and yes, he’s an alarm clock in the morning. By the 2nd morning, i got used to his shenanigans & slept right through it🤗 The yurt is super comfy, warm, toyo stove, xtra blankets and there’s plenty of water brought in for you. Super close to fairbanks with tons to see there, my fav was Museum of the North on the UAF campus. Everyone there was super friendly, Suzi & Tom and their dog Tuva. Abby and Christie and her son… loved this place❤️❤️❤️

This adorable yurt is just as it is presented. Adorable, clean, a great view, comfortable beds, linens and pillows. Everything you need is here. Great attention to needs for your comfortable stay there, so many little extras! And, I can't remember the last time I had "breakfast" at a "bed and breakfast". This one is not to be missed, AMAZING. We were a group of ladies and really enjoyed our 2 nights there, so cozy and warm. Just right. Anastassiya was great to communicate with, very sweet and helpful. There is some road noise here, so if this is a problem for good sleep, bring your ear plugs. We thought the view, convenient location, hospitality and adorable place outweigh the inconvenience of earplugs for sleeping! We'll be back.

We loved this unique stay in Seward. The space was perfect for two, with room for our bags. Without internet or cellphone service, we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Although we couldn’t use the outdoor fire due to rain, we did hear music from the neighbor. The walls are thin, so you can hear dogs and wolves, but it still felt safe and serene. The bathroom, in a separate structure next to the yurt, was modern with a heater and fast hot water. We enjoyed our time in the yurt, and the host even left us a smoked salmon can as a gift. A must-try Airbnb in Seward!

I would like to say I had a wonderful time staying at Gemma's Yurt. It was easy to find I was able to settle in quickly arriving late. Gemma was able to accommodate my late check out which was awesome and allowed for some extra time with the Yurt. Some things I did was take a walk around the property and seen some teepees and a meditation platform. I also had a late dip in the hot tub and got to meet the chickens in the morning. This Yurt is wonderful so much to do inside and out well worth the money I would recommend 5/5.

Robins property is beautiful. We would stay again. Her animals are friendly and unbelievably sweet. The Shire vibes were even better than we anticipated!

How many people can say that they stayed in a Sea Lion Shanty Yurt? We can! Perfect for our needs, and a unique experience that I would repeat. Loved the communal kitchen, and the relaxing interactions with other travelers. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay and enjoyed our time in Homer. The views from inside and from the deck are amazing, very relaxing! Saw eagles, moose and a squirrel while there.

very cozy yurt the bed was super comfortable. only downside is the place is right off a busy road so you do hear cars driving by while you're there. however they do provide you with earplugs and sleep masks if needed. I'd say the best place to stay on the property is definitely the yurt since you get to overlook everything.

We really enjoyed this unique experience. This was our first time in a " yurt." It was kind of expensive but again it's the adventure. It is about 10 min from downtown Seward which was perfect for us. It was cold and rainy for our visit but we still was able to enjoy a fire then inside the yurt was a heater which kept us very toasty. We would def recommend if you get a chance!

Loved this cute yurt! We followed her easy instructions to walk to hunter creek and it was so beautiful! The outhouse was super clean and the location was just gorgeous!
