The front porch is delightfully inviting with nice sitting area with beach stuff available. Feels safe and secure. Inside you are greeted with modern simple clean style that is elegant in Blue & Green motif. Bathroom and Kitchen well equipped and grocery & McDonald’s only 1/2 block away! Convenient parking right in front of the bottom floor level apartment. Waimea offers cooler elevation (about 70F/20C) at night times, so sleeping temperature is very comfortable. My vacation rental is a spacious, beautifully-furnished cottage, next to my home, on 1/2 acre in a small, upscale community just two miles north of the historic whaling town of Hilo. Honolii Beach, the popular eastside surf spot, is a five-minute walk down a one-lane road. Taxes are paid upon arrival.
