We really loved staying at Villa Della Stella as our base camp for a week exploring Tuscan towns. It was centrally located within 1 hour to all the recommended stops with fantastic restaurants in Montepulciano and Cortona, and an outlet shopping mall less than 30 mins away. Florence was an easy drive for a night. The apartment is well appointed, clean and comfortable and stays true to a rustic Tuscan farmhouse (not 5-star hotel but perfectly fine!). It’s a gorgeous villa and property and we are looking to stay again in the future with a large group and kids to utilize the pool etc. Chaira and team were friendly and responsive, and we really enjoyed the lunch and wine served right onsite. Highly recommend for a Tuscan get away!

Io e il mio compagno siamo stati ospiti di Germana perché lui doveva sostenere un concorso in una località vicina. Si è rivelato il luogo ideale per concentrarsi e lavorare, circondati dalla quiete e dalla natura. Nonostante siano stati giorni di maltempo, con pioggia e vento forte quasi ininterrotti, il WiFi non ci ha mai abbandonato. Inoltre, l'appartamento è pulitissimo e dotato di ogni comfort.

C’est exactement ce que je cherchais pour ma famille ; un jour sur deux farniente et piscine et visite culturelle (Arezzo, Firenze, Siene, Rimini, forteresse San Leo, châteaux Poppi et Stia. Puis sur les conseils d’Isabella, le spectacle médiéval à BIBBIENA, deux fois le restaurant « La vite » à Soci et le marché à Ponte de Poppi. 👍

We were a group of 10 people - two families with children and two grand Mums- spending 8 nights at the three villages of La Ghiga. Our experience overall was truly wonderful: -The place is a gem allowing you to reconnect with nature. -The villages are all well sized, equipped and modern with little decorative details giving them a cosy personality. -The pool and garden are maintained daily. -Olivia the host and her lovely family ensure being helpful with all your needs. -The opportunity of trying Olivia’s home cooking with (mostly) own produce is unique and truly recommended to try at least once. -Last but not least, Olivia gave us a tour to their farm which the children loved. The region offers various interesting places to visit e.g.: Civita di Bagnoregio, Orvieto, Lake Bracciano, Orsini-Odescalchi Castle, Villa Farnesse, Tuscania, Viterbo, Sacro Bosco di Bomarzzo. All these are between 25-80 min drive from La Ghiga. Otherwise there is a supermarket at 12min drive and the village of Nepi offers a variety of restaurants if you don’t want to be bothered cooking.

Thank you Nella - and Sebastian 😏 We couldnt have dreamed of better place to stay. There was everything we needed for young and old. Lovely historical city within walking distance and plenty of outside space for the small ones to go on adventure. The communication was smooth, friendly and professional. We will come back for sure😊

Una location stupenda. Flavia è un host eccezionale: accoglienza con tanto di introduzione turistica alla val d'Orcia e degustazione del loto ottimo vino (da acquistare assolutamente, con ottimi prezzi). A ogni necessità, Flavia è super disponibile e veloce nel risolvere i problemi. L'appartamento si presenta pulito e fornito di tutto il necessario per immergersi nella vita di campagna! Consigliatissimo.

La Bulletta ci è rimasta nel cuore!il luogo è incantevole, si è immersi nella natura e la posizione è sempre ben ventilata il pomeriggio e la notte. La piscina un valore aggiunto,dopo tutti i nostri giri un bel bagno per rigenerarsi è stato apprezzato da tutti. Daniele,con la sorella Emanuela e la piccola Lucia,il papà e la mamma sono davvero splendidi, ci hanno dato consigli sui dintorni e non solo. Torneremo sicuramente!!!

Merveilleux séjour dans un paradis perdu de la vallée d'Itria ! J'avais étudié plusieurs options et celle-ci était la meilleure pour la localisation extrêmement centrale, à 10 minutes d'Ostuni, et à distance raisonnable des principaux sites d'intérêt. Cette petite maison au milieu de la nature a un très grand charme. Si elle doit être parfaite l'été, elle l'est également en hiver, grâce au poêle à bois qui permet de vivre autour d'un vrai feu de cheminée. C'est un peu rustique (il faut rallumer le feu le matin au réveil), mais c'est exactement ce que nous cherchions, et grâce à la gentillesse de James (qui s'est occupé d'acheter le bois pour nous), nous avons pu profiter de sa maison dans les meilleures conditions. Maison très bien équipée par ailleurs. Je recommande donc très chaleureusement !

Place was beyond beautiful. House was perfectly well maintained and Bianca was a very warm and responsive host. Amenities were great. One cannot regret choosing this property. It was genuinely a very good deal.

This place is amazing. Approximately 20 minutes to Assisi. Extremely large property to walk around that includes a wine vineyard and olive groves and a swimming pool. Very tranquil at night absolutely nothing around you except city lights in the distance. Restaurants are a ten minute drive and a grocery store 5 mins. The unit is extremely large and includes an awesome kitchen fully stocked, two large bathrooms and wonderful sitting area outside. The morning breakfast as well is an awesome touch Eddie is an amazing host. Constantly sending suggestions for local sights and things to do. He is on site but as well he will send you links to local towns, driving instructions as well as to restuarants. Assisi is a a must to see. But Eddie also directed us to 3 smaller Italian cities with their cultural heritage and local activities. Absolutely recommend this place.

Stephen en Jennifer doen er alles aan om het hun gasten naar de zin te maken. We voelden ons er direct thuis. Ze zijn altijd bereikbaar voor vragen, tips etc. Aan alles is gedacht tot aan plastic wijnglazen voor bij het zwembad. Ook leuk dat er gasten van allerlei nationaliteiten komen. Kortom een klein paradijsje in Toscane! We zouden het iedereen die massatoerisme probeert te ontwijken aanbevelen! Dank voor het fijne verblijf!

Annamaria and Domenico were warm, gracious hosts and their place an absolute delight, perfect and so cozy for our family getaway, and in a spectacular, scenic location. The house is charming, clean, and bright, with artistic touches and surrounded by a well tended garden. Our hosts even gave us olive oil from their olive grove and fresh eggs from their chickens! They make the place even more special and we would love to stay with them again.

La casa di Serena è assolutamente perfetta, bellissima, comoda e dotata di ogni comfort, con un ampio portico per colazioni all'aperto, posizionata ottimamente, immersa nella natura ma a pochi km da ogni attrazione della Tuscia. Gli host sono persone squisite e disponibili, appassionati del loro lavoro ed hanno un occhio di riguardo per ogni esigenza. Utilissimi anche la stufa ed il barbecue forniti con legna e carbonella. Ottima base anche per gite a Roma, anche in treno.

This was a fantastic home base for my daughter and I to make day trips from. Very quiet and serene environment. The views from the patio were incredible. We hope to be back again. Nicola is so nice and helpful in recommending places to go.

The hot tub and sauna were amazing after spending the day at Plitvice lakes, easy 30-40 minute drive to the park. We loved picking fresh apples and pears from the orchard out back, they were so delicious! The town of Cetingrad is beautiful with great restaurants/pubs just a short drive away. Highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing retreat in the countryside.

Grazie a Pietro e sua moglie che ci hanno accolti in questa splendida casa sulle colline Umbre. La struttura è ben tenuta e curata. La Spa da provare e il paesaggio incredibile. La zona è ottimale perché centrale per raggiungere facilmente diverse città. Grazie ancora

Agriturismo Fonte Sala is very well kept up and in a beautiful setting. The apartment is as advertised. Both Lorenzo and Geanina were very helpful. We did have an intermittent issue with wifi, but that was probably due to the heavy rain and wind, as we had some issues with internet access via cellular as well. We would stay here again.

We loved our time at L’Assolata! It’s a beautiful spot, within close driving distance to many towns in Tuscany such as Pienza, Siena, Sarteano, and Montepulciano. It’s a bit farther away from Lucca, Volterra, and San Gimignano - so just plan for longer drives if your itinerary includes these places. It’s a serene place to both relax and explore. The views are INCREDIBLE! Even though the weather was cold and rainy a lot during our time there, we had a nice day sitting by the pool and it was the best! It’s just down the hill from the village of Radicofani. We loved walking around there and going to the bakeries and butcher shops. The cottage is clean, beautifully decorated, and just as described. Sara was very helpful! We had the best time and hope to return again someday!

First we must say we had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. We felt like part of the family immediately upon our arrival. Our first taste of the grapes and raspberries right from the moment we arrived set the tone for the rest of our trip. We were offered goodies from the veggie garden and fresh eggs which we used for our meals. The home was immaculate in every way. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. . Definitely need a car to appreciate the area and our visit to Plitvice National Park will be one of our best memories from Croatia and within a half hour. Milan and his parents were definitely the nicest hosts we've encountered in over 40 airbnb stays over the years. Thanks for making our trip extra special. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting the area

Non saprei dove cominciare: dallo splendida vista, dall'idromassaggio immerso nell'uliveto, dalla bellissima illuminazione notturna del parco, solo per elencare alcune delle cose splendide. La posizione e' allo stesso tempo tranquilla, ma vicina al paese e ai servizi. Antonella e' stata gentilissima e premurosa con noi e ha reso ancora piu' bella la nostra vacanza. Tutto perfetto. Niente altro da dire se non grazie!
