Off the beaten path but close to it all, including historic Gettysburg, the Appalachian Trail, Caledonia State Park, and Michaux State Forest. Relax on a large screened-in porch, in the shade of our pines or on the banks of a mountain creek. Access your own streaming accounts through our TV/wifi. Great restaurants are nearby, or make use of our original 1950s efficiency kitchen and dine al fresco. You’re surrounded by wineries, farm markets and even a candy store. Central location to do it all!

NO CLEANING FEE. LG/SM FAMILIES, SCOUTS, REUNIONS, YTH GRPS. 1st bedrm-queen. 2nd bedrm-4 single beds and crib. If grp is larger, there are 4 queen hotel-quality sofabeds in the lg room, 1 rollaway and 1 mattress. Room on the floor for kids who bring their own sleeping bags. 2 bathrms/showers. Kitchen-340 sf attached to the suite seating 16+. You may also tent outside. 50 inch Smart TV. 2nd TV for DVD’s. Ping pong and fooseball inside. Strict $8/person/night over 5 people. NO DRUNKEN PARTIES!!

Bear Mountain Getaway

Mountain cabin that sits on 2 1/2 acres of private woods. Very quiet and peaceful retreat with a beautiful view of mountain woods. Newly remodeled full kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, landline, WIFI . Enjoying the beautiful view on the deck area and out door fire pit. Road is not paved but well maintained. Close to Historical Gettysburg National Battlefield, hiking and fishing. I allow a pet under 30 lbs. with a fee of $ 20 per night. This must be paid at booking.
