Welcome to our totally private, completely charming mountaintop hideaway! Note: An AWD or 4WD vehicle is required to access this cabin. Do not book unless you are driving an AWD or 4WD vehicle. The main cabin structure itself is a Chestnut Log Home originally built in 1855. Great for a romantic getaway or for a small family. We love relaxing by the campfire, stargazing, hiking, ATVing, and enjoying nature. We regularly spot deer, turkeys, and groundhogs roaming freely on the 22-acre property.

The cabin is cozy and VERY OPEN. Two of the three bedrooms are LOFT BEDROOMS (please look at pictures). It’s located 20 minutes from Gettysburg and only minutes away from several lakes, hiking areas, state parks, wineries, shopping and more! It's the perfect spot for relaxing and recharging!

Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.
