We had a great time staying at the house. Everything was neat and clean. Will definitely stay there again.

Great stay. Beds were super comfortable, the location was great and the living room and kitchen table were a great place to hang out. We enjoyed having meals on the back deck, under the massive umbrella. One note about the kitchen… we did have to run out and buy a pan that could be cooked in because the provided pans were deeply scratched teflon and very worn. We had to run out a second time to buy disposable aluminum pans to make a casserole, as there wasn’t anything at all that could go in the oven. Those are minor but want to warn others to bring a couple of supplies with them if they will be cooking. Also, the road noise is LOUD. It didn’t really bother us, as we are a used to it but just be prepared, if you don’t like noise. All in all, we loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Was perfect to break up a long drive

Perfect location, close to shopping and food. Plenty of room and clean home. We would definitely stay here again when in town.

We had a lovely weekend in Damascus with family! The house was situated on the edge of town but easily within walking distance of restaurants, the park, and bike rentals for the creeper trail. It was quiet and lovely, and we loved being right by the Appalachian Trail. The house was as described, clean, and sweetly decorated. The only unexpected challenge was realizing that one of the two bathrooms was only accessible through a bedroom, which might be good for couples to know about, but overall we absolutely loved it. Hosts were proactive in communication and easy to work with. Hoping we can come back again!

We loved the character of the home it was very comfortable for 2 couples. 20 minutes from airport and 20 minutes from the events we had scheduled.

Maraya was very responsive and considerate. The first evening we were there I received a message from her that she had dropped off an extra blanket and left it on the porch. She also asked if we needed any cream and sugar because she forgot to check if there was any Her home was perfect for our needs. Everything was clean and comfortable. We accidentally left a few things in the fridge that we intended to take with us to our seat weaving class We felt bad because we didn’t mean to leave that to her to have to clean out. She was very kind with her reply when I messaged her about it. I would highly recommend her home if you find yourself in need of a place to stay if you are in the area.

We enjoyed the time at this location. Was very clean and nice. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We were able to really rest and relax on porch in the evenings after a day of adventure. Overall great place and great time

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful view. Deer right out the back door. Quick responses. The house was big enough for 9 of us to stay comfortably.

We recently spent 5 days at Peaceful Peak, and cannot recommend it enough! Jennifer and Travis are responsive and friendly, they truly want you to enjoy the home. The house is on top of a mountain, spacious, and beautifully decorated. I told my husband if we move to the area, I may just hire Jennifer as my interior decorator! Everything is top-notch and super clean with a beautiful view. The digital guide Jennifer provides is very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Peaceful Peak, and know you will too!

Great, clean place with lots of space and comfortable beds. I had a lot of fun making cappuccinos for my family in the mornings with the espresso machine. Definitely the best price in the area for my needs! My family had a lovely time exploring the nearby area and Johana’s instructions for getting in the home and using the espresso machine were really clear and helpful.

We absolutely LOVED staying in Tammy and Tim’s tiny home! They were so willing to show us around their farm and feed their animals. I recommend this stay to anyone looking for a private, peaceful home with the kindest hosts. Plus, it didn’t hurt that all the animals were so wonderful and sweet (shoutout Ferd, Walker, Chief, Annie, and Tucker the cat!) I can’t wait to return to Abingdon and hopefully stay in their tiny home again❤️

We had the misfortune of being caught in a storm but Mary and family went above and beyond to help our family. We are very thankful for their kindness.

We had an amazing weekend at this property! It was an extremely cozy cabin with all the amenities you could hope for. Beautiful view of the mountains and a stone’s throw away from Boone/Blowing Rock/Banner Elk. The host Eddie was also super responsive and helpful during our time here. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

loved every second of this trip! Prefect for couples or a get away by yourself. The view was fantastic and you couldn't ask for a more peaceful setting. Only 10mins from mint Jefferson and downtown west Jefferson!

Beautiful place! It offered everything you could need and more! Host was amazing, responded quickly and very accommodating!

Such a quaint and cozy little cabin in peaceful surroundings. We stayed a few days in Marilyn's cabin and were very comfortable. It was super nice and relaxing to just sit outside in the mornings with coffee and a book while enjoying the plethora of surrounding bird songs. Marilyn was super friendly and responsive and we felt very much at home in the cabin.

I can’t thank Tiffany and Don enough! They were so attentive to our needs, let us check in early knowing we were driving over 13 hours and checking in with us as we traveled. The house was beautiful and rules were printed and laminated and in clear view. There was a binder full of information, including family history, restaurant recommendations and things to do in the area. We were there for a short but amazing visit with family and their home had all the things needed. Should we decide to ever go back I would look them up again!!

Enjoyed our quick overnight. Within 30 mins of getting there a family of 4 deer came to the front yard to greet us. Very quiet area and very relaxing.

Had an excellent stay here with our two dogs. The house was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The little touches like having a dog crate and dog bowls available made it even better. We had to use 4-wheel drive to get up the steep driveway after rain and snow came through, but otherwise it wasn’t an issue. The location was far away enough to have peace and privacy, but close enough to easily access shops and restaurants in town. Would love to stay here again!

Not our first time staying at one of Kim‘s properties, and it will definitely not be our last. The space provides a perfect respite and it is convenient to downtown West Jefferson.

Our stay at Greystone Cottage was incredible. My wife and I eloped in Grayson highland state park during our stay and were thankful for the peaceful getaway this cottage presented. Host was hospitable and communicative and the cottage was amazing. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area.
