Long Beach is a cute little coastal town with amusement parks...shopping..lighthouses, restaurants and lots of fun stuff to do. Just drive on the big Astoria Megler bridge and turn left when you reach Washington. Takes about 20 minutes to get there from the Airbnb.

Long Beach is a cute little coastal town with amusement parks...shopping..lighthouses, restaurants and lots of fun stuff to do. Just drive on the big Astoria Megler bridge and turn left when you reach Washington. Takes about 20 minutes to get there from the Airbnb.

The Astoria Column is a large monument dedicated to the historical story of Clatsop County. As you climb the 300+ steps to the top you will see vistas in every direction from the hilltops of Astoria. Washington state is clearly visible as is the ocean and the mouth of the Columbia river.

Ending at the local favorite "Coffee Girl" near 39th street pier....and returning to the area near the southern end of the waterfront. You can catch it in many locations along the waterfront and the cost is just $2 to ride all day.
