It's an eclectic state park situated within the City of Saratoga Springs and offers an abundance of activities from the Historical Roosevelt Mineral Baths with massage options. Beautifully maintained clay tennis courts. Two pools. An abundance of walking, running, hiking, cross country and snow shoeing trails. You can road biking and fat tire bike here. The Park is also home to the Saratoga Performance Arts Amphitheater that hosts world renowned musical artists, it is the summer home of the New York City Ballet and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Also found in the Park is the SPA Little Theater that has intimate theater performances space and hosts an Opera company in the summer.

Because it is a very unique and tranquil place to be. You can go here in just about any weather anytime of the year. It's a narrow walking path right along the Geyser Creek near the main geyser but there is access to view this area from multiple points with some being quite accessible for all.
