there is paths, easy to walk, but some bits near cliffs, so children need to be looked after and dogs on leads. Great wildlife, seals, Orca's often seen from here.

You can't come to Caithness and not go to John O'Groats. There is a nice petting farm for kids, ice cream, and a wander. You can go to Orkney or a boat trip from here. Seaview Hotel nice for a meal.

Queen Mother's home, lovely gardens and castle. You may not even want to look around, there is a nice coffee shop, and shop that is free. There is also a wee farm for kids to visit.

The Scene used in the last series of The Crown you will pass it on your way to John O'Groats, turn down at Keiss. Great stop off for the play park for kids as well.

A few minutes walk down from the Flat, this was where the first bomb in Britain was dropped in WW2, killing some children. Open the gate go in a look, a nice place to sit with morning coffee.

Right next to the Memorial Garden is the Black Stairs, which was painted and made famous by LS Lowrie. (match stick men, cats and dogs :))
