In less than 1km2 you have the most iconic cultural center of the city, the best botanical garden, the Carriage Museum (Museu dos Coches), the president house, the Pastéis de Nata (the iconic desert of the city), Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, Padrão dos Descobrimentos, Torre de Belém.
if you are not here in Belém, you are not in Portugal. If you come to Portugal and you don't see Belém, it is better pretend you never went to Portugal.
